I created a brand-new account to do the same thing I did on my suspended 12-year-old account.
It’s bizarre, but that’s how it is.
My authentic personal account—which I’d had for 12 years—was suspended for "inauthentic behavior" for no apparent reason (like most people here) about three weeks ago.
I’ve appealed about nine times so far, with no success. After a lot of thought, trying out alternative social networks, and even considering quitting this crap for good, I decided today to create a new account and finally let go of the one I’d built up over those twelve years.
I’ve literally started doing the very things with the new account that supposedly triggered my suspension: liking and retweeting. I don’t plan on commenting, getting into arguments, or posting anything; I just want to go back to doing what I did before—reading what others write...
God, I hate what they’ve done to Twitter.
