Look at this bullshit. No color, no images that say “Texas” besides the tiny, barely visible outline of the state. The official explanation given is that cops find the bare plates easier to read and motorists prefer a neutral design. But I think they made the plates boring so that drivers would pay extra to get a plate with a nice design.
I bought this late last year and I’ve been wondering why each date has people names on it. Can any Norwegians here explain?

Predictions:
New DLC packs will make it a point to include terrestrial, aquatic, and flying animals. However, we will get at least one DLC pack with an aquatic focus.
There will be an Amazon Rainforest DLC pack featuring rainforest animals and river ones.
Exhibits will be improved to give more flexibility, and to better accommodate aquatic creatures. Multiple size options and a little more customization ability. Most real life aquariums have lots and lots of small tanks with smaller animals with fewer large tanks and larger animals. I think PZ2 will try to reflect this.
The coastal decor theme from PZ1 Aquatic Pack DLC will be included in the base game for PZ2.
Manatees will show up. Possibly base game but I think DLC is more likely.
Cetaceans will eventually be included in DLC. However, there will be focus on quality of life, education, and conservation. Maybe a rescue focus as well. They will have very high enrichment and space requirements. No orcas. We’ll get a few species commonly kept in captivity (I’m thinking bottlenose dolphin, beluga, and harbor porpoise) along with some endangered and vulnerable species (such as Amazon or South Asian river dolphins) as a way to raise awareness. No, that wouldn’t be realistic, but they’ve included unrealistic options before in the name of diversity and awareness.
Large cetaceans won’t make their way in the game, but they’ll be featured in some of the decor and educational material. This is common in real life aquariums. The shark donation bin in the deluxe pack resembles a great white, an animal that I think is unlikely to appear in the game. (though I’m not ruling it out entirely)
Red wolves will appear in DLC. I feel like the species has gotten more attention in recent years, plus they’d fit well with the conservation theme of the game.
Hopes:
More food and drink stall options. We’ve already seen a few new ones so that’s a good sign. One of my complaints with the first game was not having many options despite years of updates. I would like to better curate food and drink options based on themed areas of my zoo. Like, have noodles in the Asian area.
More education display options. Another complaint I had with the first game was that there weren’t many educational displays. I hope we get a good selection at least featuring common zoo animals and endangered ones.
Playgrounds would be a nice addition. And I wouldn’t be opposed to a carousel, given how common they are in zoos. Maybe there could be a few different themes to choose from, like a standard zoo carousel and an ocean one, or something.
