Does my advice regarding Masters in IT/CS make sense?
“If you plan on going abroad, it's better to take masters WHILE working. Try to apply what you learn in masters in work, then get certifications afterwards.
What you should never do is substitute possible experience with masters (unless magteteacher ka).
Short term (lower than 5 exp):
Experience > Projects > Certifications > Masters
Long term (5+ exp):
Experience > Masters > Projects > Certifications”
Honestly, I got the advice from multiple research that I did since I plan on taking that path.
(I’m actually planning to do work, masters, and certs in the same timeframe).
Well, the reason for that is because I’m a really lazy but smart (not to brag, the reason I mentioned this comes afterwards) person.
I tend to only work like 2 hours in average per day in an 8 hour shift (As a Technical Engineer L2/L3) and still do better than half my peers in an MNC. So I plan to add more responsibilities to my life so that I can avoid wasting my time brainrotting.
I find self-structuring hard to apply consistently maybe due to my ADHD. I remember the last time I wasn’t like this was in school sooo… Yeah I plan on going back to school for structured responsibilities and to fulfill my goal of lifelong learning. It’s a win-win-win situation if it works out xP
