Fun project for Scar 15P
Project for my family member, fitment is perfect just waiting for the right screws to come in so I can get another print with the updates. Fits fat cans Hella well

PLA+ concept amongst a few other ideas I will show later. Fitment is snug and I could honestly strengthen it if a few places. A little small exterior and a little too snug. Need some ideas or do I try out this telescopic brace idea? Maybe a stock or a brace idk yet.
Still getting better at 3D printing but looks like my flush grip is the perfect size and has no issues mounting. Heavily resemblance to the CZ Scorpion which I am pretty happy with. FDM does feel pretty smooth with PLA+ so I might go with a stronger material or eventually go commercial with a SLS printed for strength/feel.
Flush grip is now wider and hugs the fillet on the sides and slopes down at the rear, I've made it hook into place at the rear base for security and feel. Still gotta add some more beveling for smoothness but it's 99% there.
Finally got my Kuna back. The cerakote job made her more tight tolerance then I thought, truly crazy how different sized these guys come. She looks drastically different outdoors.
Dark Champagne and Dark Champagne/Burnt Bronze 50/50 mix .
Fun small project that allows the button knob to be on a MLOK rail instead of 1913. These are prototypes but they do work. Fitment is really snug and use a general M4 screw and locky thing i forgot the name of. Going to do some more fine tuning to have everything flush
Also got a printer so Im shitting out a fuck ton of them to test
Looking for a shop that could reasonably do a 3D scan of some stuff for a project as a workaround to finding tolerances on my own.
Cerakoted by the goat on GAFS Thor_BRC. Darker champagne upper and bronzed champagne lower. Cant wait to put her back together. Pictures from Thor
Looking for ideas and opinions on this project. Likely going to get it printed from SLS Nylon CF and flush grip in SLS Nylon
Flat nose handguard extension that comes out a little extra to hide some of the barrel and look flush with it. Similar to the Stribog receiver extension. Itll hook onto the upper frame and use a half slot at the front of the handguard along with using the ironsights retention pin to stay in. Would be even more secure if I combined it with the flush grip I already have.
Flush Grip Update:
> larger width to be more flush with the side
> More angled slope to grasp around easier
> Dialed in nubs to be more secure
> added side texture
> Flat and angled version
> Flat and angled screw version
Thank you to Stevo for printing out a updated version of the grip to show
Flush grip with barricade stop design I am with help from Stevo (biggest Kuna Goat). I will be updating this post regarding it.
currently added and extra mm at the end for a more flush fit and doing a concept by bringing the grip texture down the side (idea from stevo).
People that print this should hit me up with ideas if they can. id love opinions.
Not hard to find either and its on the sea
Was wondering what would be the best way to get this to print better. There are nubs that secure it into place that meet with the mlok. Would printing at a angle be best?
Looking to see if anyone has a 3D scan or STL file on a Scar 15P upper/lower to design a handguard around. Looking to make something for a family member that can tuck a suppressor in. Found one that kinda looked good but it's diameter is too small. Asking here before I find a local service to scan it. It would be greatly appreciated!
Changes from Haga Handguard:
• Shortened guard by 1 inch (enough tucking but more emphasis on having grips closer unlike the Haga's setup)
• Removed bottom mounting in place for MLok
• Deleted irons in place for extended 1913 rail, uses pin from irons to secure handguard
• Extended guard on the bottom to ride close to Maxwell
• Inset MLok screw holes for more compatibility
• Style changes that I like.
Thoughts on changes and ideas? Model is accurate to the model on the sea, should fit but unsure of iron delete measurements.
Very rough concept right now with changes I'm going to make soon.
Liked the idea of the handguard being shorter and covering more of the bottom. Not to mention having the irons removed and using the pin there to hold the handguard. Uses the same mounting points of the Haga with a lil less MLok.
I trying to get aluminium handguard quote for a PCC I have. I have a cad already designed and interested in getting something nice for this baby. Local in Houston if y'all have recommendations
Had the time to do initial sanding and prepping for a cerakote job.
Waiting on one slate MLok covers and a new folding stock.
You can take the mag release apart on the Kuna lower and cut down the spring to make it easier to activate the mag release. This can also be done on the safety to make way easier.
No need to buy springs or go to a smith just need a very smallish punch tool. Thinking of modeling something bigger for a release too among other small things.
Edit: this mf spring is a lil bitch when I did it
Anyone found a solution to making it slightly smoother?
Ignore the shitty print (getting refunded and a way better one printed)
What screws/etc did y'all order for it to be compatible.
I seriously can't wait to complete this...
I'm not too familiar with lights so I'd like to know your preferences. I'm looking for something budget friendly and not massive, preferably have a way to recharge and a pressure pad.
