We aren't supposed to talk about actual sales here...

I know that, and I am NOT doing any self promotion. That being said, for me, this tends to lead me into a "For profit" venture.

I asked my wife.. "Did my hobby, just become my new job??" How the heck do some of you people all keep up with demand if your stuff becomes stupidly popular??

I'm buried here!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

After everyone's help and suggestions for my faded and not deep rich colors, I took it all onboard and totally revamped my entire batching process (2 cups Soda Ash to a gallon of water for the preseason. Dye under ice, soda ash lightly sprinkled on the ice. Once melted, into the hot box til it reached 140f, the removed and let rest in its bag for 48 full hours. Then a cold rinse, followed by a hit Dharma Dyers Detergent wash, moving to cool until clear. Then a softener soak for 15 mins, squeeze out and hang dry.

This solved ALL of my issues!! Thanks again everyone!

(1st pic is wet, 2nd is dried and complete)

OK, I gotta be a total dumbass or something..

I am losing SOOOO MUCH depth and intensity of color.. these are pics wet vs dry.. I'm batching them currently at 130f for 3 hours. The a boiling synthrapol wash. Then a warm to cool final rinse, and a softener water sit for 15 mins. Is it just the dye load is too light?? I'm getting depressed my drys dont look as good as my wets..

Help please..

24 hours at 160 degrees. Dye over ice, mostly Mindbender Extreme, and a light sprinkling of Stratosphere. "Catherdral Skies" is the name.

I'm very VERY much loving this. We will see how much color retention and intensity remain after a wash.

Opinions please..
