I wanna start learning about Black history a lot more and not just go off of what I learned in school or social media. I feel like a lot of the history from that can be brushed off and i won’t really get the full insight on the struggles and oppression of black Americans. Especially since i’ve experienced these apps hiding stuff from people’s algorithms. I am Palestinian and posted many things about the Palestinian genocide and they have been taken down or hidden from peoples views. With that being said, what are some essential books that go well into detail about African American culture throughout history and the struggles that they have faced?

I (19M) was at the gym yesterday when i noticed my right testicle started to feel uncomfortable. It maybe was because of the shorts i was wearing because they had a liner like in swimming trunks that was kinda tight. I tried sleeping in different positions but it was still a little uncomfortable. Its not excruciating pain to the point i cant walk so i would assume its not torsion. I also dont see anything that looks off with it. No swelling or discoloration and im not really feeling like i need to vomit. But when i touch the side of it or the back of it i can start feeling the pain. I went to urgent care but they didnt check it out and told me id be better of going to the er but im worried about the bill. Right now im sitting down and can feel a mild discomfort but not really any pain. Could this be tortion or just inflammation? How worried should i be?
