Suspension

Sup people! I think I have a 3rd gen fit lol it’s a 2016 Honda Fit LX! I love the car, and have the only owner. It’s got about 80,000 miles on it! I’m here because although I love the car the suspension sucks! It feels completely blown, and I feel everything on the road. I move in LA I pray I don’t go over any pot holes, and bumps. Any of you guys experience the same issue with yours? If so, what suspension did you guys use to get it resolved? Is it fairly easy to replace? Any suggestions open! I’d love to replace the stock suspension soon. Thanks in advance!

Thinking About Garmin

Sup guys. I’m thinking about getting a Garmin watch. This guy is selling some used Forerunner 965 and Fenix 7 for $300. What do you guys think? So far that’s all I know. I used to be big in working out, but lately as the years gone by I’ve lacked. Hoping to get serious again very soon. I had a Fitbit back in 2017-2021. Loved it, but hated the notification system since I have an iPhone. Currently, I have an Apple Watch SE since 2021. The watch kinda annoys me because it’s not as responsive, small, and never sleep with it. I used to sleep with my Fitbit! Anyways, I’m starting to run, and do body workouts. I plan on making it a habit to hike every weekend too. Any suggestions on what model I should get perhaps? There’s too many out there. $300 for a new watch doesn’t sound too bad. Since I have an iPhone, would I get annoyed about not being able to text back from my watch? Thinking about a used Apple Watch Ultra as well. Any tips would be great. Thanks

New to Jerseys

Sup guys! I got into soccer once again, and this time so much that I bought some Mexico jerseys from a vendor outside of dodger stadium. Each shirt was $20, and although I know it maybe bootleg, but do these look authentic to you? Or am I just novice to this? A dead give away for me about being bootleg is the fact that some tissue from the embroidery is still left over. I hopped on the adidas app, and saw the jerseys they’re selling are 100% polyester. These shirts say 100% polyester with the “climacool” lol are all these stamps just stamped and embroidered on to look super adidas authentic? How did can I tell if this is legit because again I’ll think “damn I think this really is adidas” lol anyways, took some photos to take a gander. Again, I’m new to all this so forgive me in advance 😭

Electrical Mechanic - LADWP

Anyone take the EM exam for LADWP recently? Apparently I didn’t score high enough to continue with the process :( I wonder what the passing score was? Maybe they only have super limited openings and raised the passion score. I have Electric Station Operator exam coming up as well. I applied for ECH too. Like many of you I really want to get in with DWP. Let me know if you guys got in the Electrical Mechanic program and how it is so far

First Time

Saw Rush for the very first time Saturday, 6/13/26. Last night they played in LA I believe. I entered, and left the show different. Maybe what helped was the fact that I was under the influence for the first time in 4 years (greenie 🍃). Man.. I held tears, cheered, and just lived in the absolute moment. They played a few songs I didn’t know as I am more familiar with everything before Power Windows. Felt like I can out of watching a musical play/opera. It was an unforgettable night. Wish I had seen them when Niel was alive, but I truly felt like he was there too. Longest show I’ve ever attended. Extremely impressive how they can play for so long at their age. Anika was SO impressive too. Man, I’m definitely seeing them again next year if I can.

Study Material

Hi guys! Hope all are well! I want to start studying for an electrical helper position that will open later this year. I believe the test would include basic electrical knowledge such as ohms law and stuff like that. However, I also heard it will include electrical math, mechanical aptitude such as questions involving gear turns, and how it affects other gears, and pulleys, and all that stuff. Anyone know where I can get study material for that kind of stuff? I found a website that has online courses for $80 I think which also includes math. Has anyone taken it for similar reasons as me? I suck at math. I know it’ll have questions like how many cubic feet in inches or how many centimeters in yards. Even how much dirt to dig out if you need to dig out a trench 4’ deep x 5’ wide x 6’ long for example. So I guess I need to study geometry too? I feel lost 😔 anything would help. Thank you all
