Surprise wolfie suicide bomber

Hi everyone! I’d like to preface this by saying that I am a longtime appreciator of spiders in general “because they eat the bad bugs” as I was told as a kid (and I still repeat that mantra at 35).

I had a rose hair tarantula when I was in college, but I never handled her. I did occasionally stroke her back because she felt like a kitten!

I have never been brave enough to handle any spider directly. I’ve caught them in cups and brought them outside. But this sub has apparently emboldened me and earlier today I actually handled this little spider!

I was digging in my bedside drawer for some measuring tape, I felt a tickle and WOO! Wolfie appeared at the edge of the drawer! He or she must have been nestled in the little cup in my drawer and I felt very rude for disturbing them lol.

I always try to transport them safely outside when I come upon them (I live in the basement so I encounter quite a few diff spoods). But for whatever reason, I coaxed him or her into my hand!! And the spood DID get there, but must have felt my pulse or whatever and got freaked out because spood pretty immediately LEAPT from my hand as I was trying to take it outside. Spood would rather DIE than be touched by me lolol.

I eventually got wolfie outside using the good old wine glass and personal property tax declaration paper method.

I’m really proud of myself that I willingly held a spider for the first time and I owe it all to this sub.

Plus I love wolfies especially because mamas carry babies on their backs and it’s precious.

::::)

Apologies in advance if I chose the wrong flair!

I am but a 35 y/o woman who owns an N64 in the teal/turquoise colored shell (which my boyfriend says is very coveted). I tried to boot it up several years ago, but it wouldn’t work. I do not remember even whether the red light came on upon switching to ‘on.’ Boyfriend took a look at it and concluded that it needs a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately, I think cat urine could be a factor.

My questions:

- Is this fixable?

- Is there a person or company I could send it to for a cleaning?

- Is there any hope for me being able to get this beauty restored?

Notes:

- I would never attempt to take it apart and clean it myself. I watched several YouTube videos and I simply do not trust myself not to fuck something up.

- I will GLADLY PAY for this service to get my N64 working again!! It would make me so, so happy.
