Preventing future updates

I'm one of the presumably very many new people here. I won't be able to jailbreak my PS5 for quite some time because it's in a 13.42 release. But for now I want to make sure there is no further updates to that. Obviously I've turned off automatic system updates, but I'm not sure if I also need to do something with a custom DNS. If I do need to do this then none of the custom DNS I have read here will work. I've read the FAQ and wiki for new users. Is simply turning off automatic system updates going to work to keep me at 13.2? If no then I don't know why none of the custom DNS will work for me (including the one on the faq for this sub) Thanks very much (ps I'm also planning on adding all of the urls for open DNS to block, but again I also don't know if I need this custom DNS to work)

Giant sucker?

So I'm growing a beef steak tomato plant for the first time and I'm having trouble understanding what suckers are. From what I read, it seems to me that this plant, with that split on the v-shape stem, has immediately started producing an enormous sucker. Is that right? And if so how can I tell what the true stem is, to remove the sucker? Thanks very much

Lifetime and canceling yearly

I currently have a yearly subscription which runs out in a few weeks. I'm planning to cancel it and get the lifetime option as advised by Tivimate on their website. If I cancel the yearly subscription, and then buy the lifetime, do I have to start all over again with entering playlists and credentials etc? Thanks very much

Small white spots on young beefsteak

I just noticed these today, it doesn't really look like the photos I've seen of powdery mildew, though it could be the start of it. Spider mites? Thanks very much

Weird channel availability on invincible Wi-Fi

So we have had invincible Wi-Fi for 3 weeks now. It works very well, though it's saying a lot about Spectrum that we've had three outages in those 3 weeks. I've noticed however, that when we are on invincible Wi-Fi, none of the local channels, nbc abc etc, are available. Cable channels such as Discovery and history channel etc are all available. To make it even more confusing all of the local channels such as NBC etc are all available on the mobile app using invincible Wi-Fi. But no local channels on the Spectrum TV app on the TV or Xumo. Can anyone tell me why? (I would try ringing them but I know ringing them about this sort of question involves being put on hold until they deliberately hang up 10 minutes later)

No pollination?

Hi, I was given a beef steak tomato plant about 10 days ago, and it's doing pretty well at about 10 inches high. I've read several times however that these plans need night time temperatures between 50 and 70° for pollination to occur from the flowering. Where I am, South Padre island in Texas, there is no chance of the temperature falling below 70° at night until about October or November. Should I try and keep this plant alive until then or just give up and start again in October? Thanks very much

Confused about fertilizer for beefsteak

Hi. I'm growing beef steak tomatoes for the first time. I found most things I need to know about this over the past few weeks, and I'm going to repot my young beef steak into a 20 gallon container with 100 quarts of potting soil when it reaches about 18 in high in a week or two.

The advice and information about adding fertilizer is very inconsistent and contradictory however. I've read that when I do the final repot I should add anything between 1.5 tablespoons and 5 tsp of fertilizer. Some people also say it should be added to the bottom of the pot, which seems a bit strange to me as it seems it won't get any fertilizer for quite some time if it's all stuck at the bottom. Others say it should be added at the top making sure it's a few inches from the stem (which seems to make more sense to me)

I'm looking for opinions on this (I know there's no hard or fast rules) how much fertilizer should I add when I put this young beef steak into its final pot, and should it be on the top layer (a couple of inches down) or placed in the bottom layer?

I'm using tomato tone organic fertilizer

Thanks very much
