Like the backstory could be that he was a cultist who loves Sonic and sneaked into E3 while avoiding security to see the trailer for the new sonic game early but got crushed by a statue of Sonic and the werehog because the workers trying to get the statue in the right place accidentally pressed the button and dropped the statue on them.
