Question on T gel

Hey all! I recently started Testosterone, and was using an injection but switched over to the Gel as I was having consistent issues with needles.

I was prescribed 5g tubes at 50mg T, and used it for the first time this morning.

I was expecting like a pea sized amount but oh my god....5 grams is a LOT of gel to be putting on at once. I double checked the prescription and the instructions and it all makes sense - I was just wondering how this actually works??? (My doctor is nearly useless)

Like I spread as thin of a layer as I could across my thigh, but even going like groin to knee and top of thigh to back it took a minute to really rub in. Washed my hands thoroughly and wiped down the counter but am still feeling a little overwhelmed.

Just wanted to see if anyone else on the gel had some experience/advice they could share? Do I need to be spreading it SO thin, or should I pick a better area? Luckily it absorbs fast and basically disappears, but dang it was....blugh lol

[TOMT] [TV Show] [20102] Mystery TV Episode about an Engineer Killing His Neighbor

Okay I literally could have sworn this was a Veronica Mars Episode from the newest season, but apparently I'm way off.

A detective/investigator goes back to see her friend who is a successful engineer building planes/drones(?) at a company in their hometown. Nice house, great wife, great kids, all of it. She's just trying to catch up, and her friend's neighbor dies suspiciously. He's under suspicion, but she helps clear his name.

Later, she learns he had faked records and that the neighbor had stolen some of his research to secure a major promotion her friend had been going for. Turns out her friend had ultimately killed his neighbor, kind of a "I knew it might kill him but I swear I didn't mean for it to" kind of a thing. The episode ends with him doing the perp walk out of his house.

I could have absolutely sworn it was Veronica Mars - she and Wallace Fennel were old friends, he had been in college studying mechanical engineering and wanted to build planes, they hadn't seen each other in a long time, he was a good guy with a serious competitive streak, all of that. I was legit confused watching the whole 4th season without any context of it!

I've tried searching a few different ways but all the tv adverts keep gumming up the works, so I'm hoping someone will read this and have it ring a bell!

Help with Short Ribs in Bolognese

I've been exploring using Short Ribs in my Bolognese sauce and am having a little trouble dialing it in.

I seared them all really well (about 2m per side in 2 batches) and got some really incredible browning, then made the sauce and put them in to braise on low for about 4 hours. I left it to cool covered, and came back to a lot of fat that hadn't been fully rendered.

I went ahead and removed bones, shredded it all, and pulled as much unrendered fat off the meat as I could, then put it in. I know they could have probably used a longer braise so more fat could render, but I wanted to ask if anyone had any tips/tricks they use when making short ribs? I've never cooked with them outside of making this sauce a couple times.

Recipe was about 2.5 lbs of short ribs, and I simmered on low on a small burner. The flavor is incredible so I'm not out a great meal, but it's an expensive ingredient and I'd love to be making the most of it!

Dish will be spicy short rib bolognese over bucatini tossed with Rosemary infused bechamel.

Getting There!

Kind of my take on a plague mask/venetian mask vibe for an upcoming burlesque show. Eyes will be finished with metallic gold which Ill also use for some straps wrapping around the beak. Still not sure how Im gonna finish the back yet, but we'll get there!
