Finishing this Chicago season

I’m thinking too much into this BUT…did they just put two Latinos together and automatically think it would be a match? Sorry but that is exactly what it felt like! She wasn’t traditional Latina compared to Juancho. I don’t think he explicitly stated he wanted a Latina, did he? But Karla’s spirituality was a turn off to Juan. They were different, but I think they were paired because they were Hispanic and that’s it. Am I missing something?

How do I get a Spurs shout out?

She has no barriers and never has! She is feisty, funny, smart, sporty, sarcastic and caring. She’s my niece and she is a proud Spurs fan! She was born 4 months premature and has always been a fighter and NOW she’s about to graduate with her degree from Northwest Vista and I feel like she deserves the world. Her cerebral palsy has only projected her to win every single day! I don’t know how else I could explain how resilient she is and a little gift won’t express how proud her family is of her! Anyone know how to make this happen? A video or picture of the team for my niece?

Maybe I’m jaded from being unemployed for so long, but it sounds like I got the job after having a phone screening by HR last week. Then she scheduled me for the next interview for later this week. I then got a call Monday, a couple days ago, and the HR girl asked if I’d be available for a zoom right then and there. She said the hiring manager didn’t want to wait any longer to make a decision and wanted to interview now? Long story short, he and I jumped on a call, he asked me a few questions, asked when I could stay and my salary expectations. Then he just said to come in Wednesday at 9am, gave me a few instructions, and said prepare to be there all day. WTH? I have to be there tomorrow at 9. I haven’t even met the hiring manager? Or had a “proper” gut wrenching interview? I’m so confused. I’ve been through rounds of stupid scenario questions, aptitude assessments, waiting, being ghosted. Did I really get a job that easily????

I made it through the initial screening and the in-person interview but ultimately got the “we decided not to move forward with you” rejection email. I guess they didn’t like ANYBODY because I just applied a few weeks ago. This process is a btch!
