I wish someone had told me how easy it is to miss early health changes in pets ❤️

I wish someone had told me how easy it is to miss early health changes in pets ❤️

After losing a family dog to cancer several years ago, one thing that stayed with me was wondering if there were little signs we missed earlier.

Not because we didn’t love her enough. Not because we weren’t paying attention. But because when you see your pet every single day, gradual changes can be incredibly hard to notice in real time.

A little weight loss. Less energy. Eating differently. Sleeping more. Small things that are easy to brush off until later.

That experience is a big part of why I built the Fido’s Bark app.

I wanted pet owners to have one simple place to track weight changes, medications, symptoms, vet visits, notes, reminders, and photos over time — because sometimes seeing patterns clearly can help us catch things earlier.

I’ve been overwhelmed by how many pet owners have told me it’s helped them stay more organized, notice changes sooner, and feel more on top of their pet’s health.

I made it completely free because I never wanted cost to stop someone from staying on top of their pet’s health. ❤️ Here is link to the app if you are interested:

I got tired of things being so chaotic with pet care, so I built a solution.

Managing pet health is way harder than people admit. Who fed them last? Did anyone give the meds? Was that today or yesterday? It always felt scattered across texts, notes, and memory, and that's when mistakes happen.

So I built Fido’s Bark — a free iOS app that works as a real-time shared pet health log for families and caregivers. Food, meds, weight, activity — everything is time-stamped so everyone instantly sees what’s already been done. The app allows you to monitor and track small signs before they become bigger issues.

The early response has honestly meant more than I expected. The most meaningful part isn’t the numbers — it’s that people are actually using it. Senior pets on meds. Multi-person homes. Shared custody. Rescue foster cats. Even birds and rabbits! For the first time, everyone is truly on the same page.

Seeing something that started as a personal pain point turn into something that’s actively helping real pets has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life as a builder.

If you have feedback regarding the app, or how to best reach pet parents, please let me know. 🙏 💛🐾

The love people have for their senior dogs is honestly beautiful ❤️

There’s something really special about the bond with our dogs. As dog owners, we know that this love just grows with each day.

You stay patient when they slow down. You celebrate the good days.
You notice the tiny changes nobody else would catch. You learn their medications, routines, favorite sleeping spots, and all the little signs that say “something isn’t right.”

That’s a big part of why I built the free Fido’s Bark app. I kept seeing pet owners trying so hard to stay on top of medications, weight changes, symptoms, vet visits, reminders, and daily notes — especially with older dogs where little changes can mean a lot.

The app allows pet owners to keep everything together in one place.

No ads. Free to use. Just something made with a lot of care for people doing their best for the dogs they love ❤️ Here is the link to the free app if you are interested:

I’ve always believed our pets aren’t “just animals”. They’re family, and they deserve the best chance at a long, healthy life. But between vet visits, meds, vaccines, and weight tracking, it’s easy to lose track, especially when you’re busy.

That’s why I built Fido’s Bark, a free iOS app that helps pet parents manage their pet's health and identify small issues before they become more serious. The app allows you to 1) track and monitor weight, meds, and vet visits, 2) add notes and photos, 3) share updates with sitter or vets with real-time updates 4) spot trends early to keep your pet healthier, longer.

My goal is to help pet parents to take better care of their pets. I am bootstrapping this project while working full-time. Here’s the App Store link, if you’d like to try it:

If you use the Fido's Bark App, would love your feedback! Thanks in advance for your support!💛🐾🙏

Oi pessoal,

Estou compartilhando caso possa ajudar alguém aqui. Se tiverem feedback, vou adorar ouvir ❤️
