Anyone any good at making Ethernet (Cat 5) cables?
UPDATE - I HAVE HAD AN OFFER OF HELP. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ELSE.
This is a request for a kind person, or a small paid job. I'm based in Plympton, PL7
I'm a Software person and frankly, hardware is mostly beyond me. I have all the kit to make ethernet cables for home (cable, crimper, stripper, crystal leads and covers) but its just so damn fiddly, I can't do it. Like I said, I'm rubbish at hardware.
I need 4 doing, so it's not a big job so I can get a waterproof (outdoor) ethernet cable to my study.
If anyone is willing to do it for 4 cans of lager/cider/a bottle of wine/a big pack of coca-cola or can quote me for it then please message me.
Goodbye
Sorry everyone, but I've had enough of this sub.
Every other post is "will I go to hell for X?" and frankly I'm tired of even trying to engage with it all. I've also left r/Christianity for the same reason.
I try to follow Christ as faithfully as I can. I've been a Priest for 25 years, but this is just draining.
Do what you think is right, not what you think other people think.
God loves you.
That's all you need to know.
Who is Jesus?
“My point, once again, is not that those ancient people told literal stories and we are now smart enough to take them symbolically, but that they told them symbolically and we are now dumb enough to take them literally.”

A week back in KS3/4
I teach in FE and am currently at the end of ECT1. As part of that I have been required to spend a week back in Secondary and it was really fun. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching Computing to Years 7-10 this week.

However, there are many things I don't miss: endless reminding about school uniforms, the BO and the sheer noise.

Of all the things in Secondary, what do you find most irksome?
The Duchess
The Duchess, whilst pouring out tea
Asked "Do you fart when you pee?"
I replied with some wit
"Do you belch when you shit?"
And I think that was one up to me.
