Hello all!

I am over 18 and all parties participating must be over 18!!

I am looking to do a Pokémon rp where you and I both play as Pokémon trainers. I am not looking to play as Pokémon, or Pokémon and trainer, except for us and our teams/wild pokemon/npcs etc.

I'm hoping for this to be mxm but your real gender doesn't matter!!

I'm hoping to do something with a bit of cozy slice of life mixed with some possible drama/angst/world building etc etc

Maybe something with a more spooky theme or with some historical stuff, who knows!

I'm hoping for it to have some adult themed an an overall mature vibe, but still cozy and fun and a good time!

I personally am not the most knowledgeable about the Pokémon lore but I love the franchise and I love the vibes!! I am more than willing to do a little research, chat, listen to rants, make art, and everything else!

I *will* spell the Pokémons' names wrong. I apologize in advance. I spell not good sometimes and I'm getting better but autocorrect abandons me with Pokémon so please forgive me in advance.

Here's a snippet about my character so you can get a feel for him!

When he was young, as many children did, he went to get his starter Pokémon, which was a Torchick. As he grew, so did his Pokémon, though he was never too terribly interested in fighting and while he did go out on an adventure at the age of 16 with his combusken, he fell in love moreso with the architecture and art of other towns, not with battling their gym leaders and other teens' Pokémon.

As he aged, he gravitated more and more towards art, starting a blacksmithing shop where he makes specialized gear for Pokémon, such as saddles for rideable Pokémon, accessories, tools, all sorts of things.

He eventually got a furfru, which he loves having their hair cut in fun an artistic ways.

Though eventually, he started to adopt other Pokémon. Small things like a Sinistea and then a brambleghast and.. well he couldn't just leave that poor Houndstone alone at the graveyard. And then there were more ghost Pokémon, and a retired garchomp who had long since aged out of fighting.

And now, years later, he was accompanied by no less than six Pokémon at one time, usually crowding around him for poke-snacks or head scratches. What was he supposed to do? Leave them at home?

So now, in his blacksmithing shop in a small town, he had small children comming to challenge him for gym badges because one time, a child had asked to test out their team with him and he had said yes, and he had rewarded their efforts with a little trenkit he had made because what? Was he just supposed to turn these kids away when they seemed so eager and proud?

So the blacksmith who never wanted to fight gym leaders somehow became an unofficial gym leader of his own. He just really hopes that noone important comes poking around...

His main team is comprised of his Blazakin, Fufru, a Runerigus, Chandelure, Duoblade, and a Ceruledge. While he does own several other Pokémon, including a Garchomp, Sinistea, Brambleghast, Houndstone, and a Cacturn, none of these Pokémon fight (and on occasion, some of his regular Pokémon also refuse to fight because he spoils them)

My style is semi-lit though sometimes it can be more or less depending on the vibes, how much YOU want to type, the weather, the stars. I can be inconsistent but I try to write plenty so the plot can move along!

Everyone has been so helpful so far, and I'm still open to any advice anyone has since this is my first pitcher plant!

But now I have some more specific questions!

1. Dormancy

Someone mentioned dormancy and I am wondering if I need to do this because she will likely be an indoor plant. And if I DO need to do it, some more information would be greatly appreciated.

2. Water

So I know filtered water is best (and rain water), but where do you all get your filtered water from?

3. Grow light

Since she's so small, could I just get a grow bulb and put it in a lamp I already have?

4. Soil

Any advice on what kind of soil I need? I heard something about coconut shavings and such.

How big should the pot be compared to the plant? Her roots are pushing through the bottom of her container right now and I feel like I need to get her into something bigger asap

5. Food

So I'm pretty sure I don't need to feed her myself, but I still worry!

Is there any real difference between cheaper and 'name brand' perler beads? Do they melt different or burn or anything?

You don't have fo have played High on Life 1 or 2 or have seen souleater to rp but it would help and if you plan on playing the games, this will likely have spoilers!!

So the idea is, bounty hunter/outlaw x aliens (humanoid or otherwise, we'll discuss) who turn into weapons

The plot and setting will be inspired by the games but I do really want to explore the possible settings more and have this have a much grittier tone.

I really want to be the outlaw though and I'm willing to make most/all of the plot (unless you want to do some yourself which is very much welcome :>) and I can also play all/most of the npc

If you want to rp this, you'll just have to play a few weapons. Anywhere from 1-5 ish? More than that and I think it would be too many, but we can see, and I'm hoping for at least 3.

I would also like for this to be mxm or mxnb

Can anyone tell me what sights tou use for your portfolios? I'm mot looking to create a whole website right now, I just need a place to put my art so I can show it to people. I tried vgen but I still need an artist code and I'm thinking about deviant art, but does anyone have anything they like more?
