As above, I was previously only collecting 4K UHD but came to the realisation that there is alot that will probably never come out on 4K so I have been buying my favourite movies and series on blu ray going through my list.

I currently have found the below while I working my way through checking.

I have found most the issues stem from movies and shows owned by Disney unfortunately.

I am sure I will find many more while going through my list.

I know it has no region stamp on the back but it isn’t always an indicator it’s region free.

As above never had any issues previously, audio keeps skipping then repeating what was just said. I tried closing the app and restarting but made no difference.

*** Looks like from the comments we are all unfortunately having the same issue, at least we know it’s there end! It doesn’t seem as bad now and has done it once or twice after the first 5 mins of the opening credits. The microphone quality for this race is also poor for the F1tv commentators too***

Hoping you can help

As above I have seen that any of your purchases from apple tv/itunes can be removed at anytime and even apple tells you to download your purchased content to back it up. If the license even gets removed for the film which they take it down and reupload with a new license you have to pay for it again!

This above is the only reason I am asking what I can do to back everything up which I have purchased.

Is it possible to download all my content then play this content from the backup straight to my tv using the Apple
TV 4k? I was going to buy NAS storage but I have read that because the content has DRM protection it will not play straight from the NAS storage? (Even using infuse or plex downloaded on the apple tv)

If that is correct would that mean there are only two possible ways to do this which is buy a 2tb ipad/iphone download 500+ movies then airplay from it or have a laptop download everything onto an external hardrive (changing the file location first to it) then download it all to there but then to play it the laptop would have to constantly be on?

I believe even though the purchased content is mostly 4k too apple only allow a 1080p download? If so it looks like if I wanted 4k I would have to buy them all again as physical media?
