This woman can be everything.

"Bad Guy", "No Time To Die" and "Birds Of A Feather" were the only songs I knew from Billie Eilish before I listened to her Hit Me Hard And Soft album. And wow. This woman can be everything.

On "Skinny" she goes all fragile, soft and touching before she gives you funky pop with LUNCH. And while you are still in a funny mood, she hits you with that emotional masterpiece and dreamy soundscape that is Chihiro. And when you are still recovering from the force of Chihiro (I, for one, can't) she serves you Birds Of A Feather itself. One hell of a radio - ready pop song with the vocals of an angel. All that even before the second half of the album absolutely shreds and Billie decides to hit you with the most badass beat in the wonderfully creepy "The Diner " or before she ends "La vie..." on... Yeah...idk which adjective would fit that face I made.

And I made it a few times during "Hit Me Hard And Soft ". Everytime a song completely switches its identity midway through, somehow without falling apart.

Before I listened to "Hit Me Hard And Soft" , I thought all she could do is whisper, decent radio pop or massively produced Bond Songs. But wow. She can do so, so much more and she really opened my eyes when it comes to judging artists by 3 titles. I love this CD.

I just bought HIT ME HARD AND SOFT on physical media (CD)

It was on sale for just 8€ in my country. And BIRDS OF A FEATHER just never left my mind. I'm not a Billie fan but I am so ready to become one. And I am sooo excited to get BIRDS OF A FEATHER in the best quality possible (I think?) !

Sooo you could say I just paid 8€ just for BIRDS OF A FEATHER+ bonus. Maybe she'll release her next album on physical as well (she's very enviorenment friendly so maybe not?). If I like HIT ME HARD AND SOFT I think I would buy that one too.

Big fan of Evil Dead Rise but I always think it's funny how they just stand there and watch Deadite Ellie do her bossfight entrance in the bathtub.

This should not hit me as hard as it does.

English is not my first language so this text will suck.

As a kid, I watched the same soap opera with my grandma every evening. For years. When I grew older, I stopped, my interests changed. Now an actor in said soap opera decided he wants to leave it and do something else. For 20 years (!) said actor played one of THE most important characters in that show. And now they decided to kill his character off. Via assisted suicide because the character suffered from a very damaged heart.

It may sound so so stupid. But that character dying...it somehow hits me. It feels wrong. It's one of those characters that typically can't and won't die in these shows yet they dared to do it. That character, all things considered, was part of so many endless stories...it feels like a part of my childhood just left that show. One of the nostalgic connections I had with my grandma after she died is now incomplete, forever.

I am currently sitting outside of our house in our garden and I ' m a little spooked because, once again, our house had a little spooky moment going on.

While I tried to find out something about my father's Blu Ray player, our nearby basement door opened and country music started playing.

I do not believe in ghosts, actually. I thought it's our neighbour, who we live wall to wall with. And the basement, that was just the wind.

So I went and closed the door. That's when the music stopped playing. And that was when I bailed, closed the door, locked it and started waiting for my parents.

My father had an incident like that before I was born. A loud BANG in the night with no clear origin to this day. He searched the whole house back in the day.

So yeah, our house has random instances of moments you could write into the next conjuring movie which is as funny as it's scary I guess.

I watched both Devil Wears Prada movies last week and liked them very much. So I wanted to ask you if you know any more charming New York stories with heart and humour.

Hallo.
