Feeling hopeless with my progress

Been training consistently for a year and I’ve made such little progress. I progressively overload, eat in a surplus, time my carbs, EVERYTHING. Everything else has grown tremendously, but my glutes…Can anyone recommend a 3 day split for glutes, hamstrings, quads, and calves that has ACTUALLY worked for them? I am feeling so discouraged.

How to support my partner in fixing “death grip”?

My (20F) partner (21M) has been struggling with sensitivity issues, often experiencing a kind of desensitisation (sometimes called a 'death grip') that stems from extended maturation and a past of porn addiction. He’s never been able to climax naturally inside a partner, which he’s been open and honest with me about from the start.

Currently, we’re in a long-distance situation, seeing each other only about a week each month. This makes it difficult for him to work through his desensitisation because he doesn’t have consistent opportunities for natural intimacy or access to alternative outlets. When we are together, I see some progress, especially as we try different strategies to help him. He still occasionally needs to use his hand, but over time, he’s been needing less time and effort. The challenge is that our limited time together makes it hard to make consistent progress.

He makes conscious efforts to abstain from masturbation at times, but it’s tough because he has a high sex drive and genuinely wants to connect with me intimately, even over the phone, to meet both our needs.

Porn use isn’t a big issue right now; he only watches it occasionally when we aren’t together, and he feels it’s more out of boredom than necessity. When we are with each other, he’s able to resist it easily.

He feels a lot of guilt about his difficulty in reaching climax naturally, and this weighs heavily on his mental health. He’s constantly telling me how much he wishes he could get past it and reassures me that it’s not related to me. I can see how much this affects him, and I want to support him in regaining his confidence.

My main question is: what compassionate strategies can we try to help him regain sensitivity while we are apart? Is prolonged abstinence truly necessary, or are there alternative approaches that could work? I want to understand how we can navigate this together with patience and care.

I (20F) am struggling with trusting my boyfriend (22M)

I’ve recently begun my first relationship, which has been going strong for three months. Before this, I had no experience with romance or intimacy at all. It’s important to mention that we are in a long-distance relationship, seeing each other every three weeks. Though it can be challenging, we manage to stay connected well. Lately, I’ve been struggling with trusting my boyfriend. Not because I doubt his faithfulness, but because I sometimes doubt how he truly feels about me. He is wonderful and consistently goes out of his way to make me feel special and appreciated. Still, small remarks or jokes he makes can sometimes send me into a spiral of doubt, and I start to think he doesn’t love me. For instance, he's mentioned things in a playful way that I interpret as him asking for something or being open to it. When he does, I tend to shut down, worried he doesn’t love me or might prefer other women. He mentions his past relationships and regrets, and even though he reassures me of his commitment, I often blow these comments out of proportion, imagining he’s obsessing over them or wishing he were with someone else. When he talks about how I looked in old photos when I weighed more, I immediately feel he hates my current appearance, despite his many reassurances that he loves me just as I am. I realize that these feelings come from my own insecurities, and I genuinely want to believe what he says. I love him deeply and can see a future with him. I’m seeking understanding—what might be causing these feelings, and how can I work through them with compassion for myself?
