How did a puzzle game become my most anticipated game of the year?

In a year where I will get to play GTA VI, The Duskbloods, and Ocarina of Time Remake, I keep on coming back to Order of the Sinking Star! Maybe it's because we know more about it, but I am dying to play it. I haven't been able to play the demo since I'm on Switch 2, so all I can do is continue to watch interviews, gameplay, etc to satiate the hype. Anyone else right there with me?

Has anyone's PT just...disappeared?

It's so weird, a few months ago I had consistent PT in my right ear. I would also, about once a day, get a sort of dizziness spell for about 30 seconds, which would then turn into this static-type sound in my right ear until it would go away. The PT was all the time though. However, a few days ago, it all just stopped? If the PT there it is so faint in absolute silence that I can't discern it from normal tinnitus, and I don't get the obvious dizzy spells anymore. I was really surprised this happened.

I still have an ENT appointment, and I might as well do the CT+contrast scans because I want to rule out any extreme dangers (basically just aneurysms), but I can't lie that I am still suffering from it. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe because I've been working on my muscle knots in my shoulder/neck. That's the only thing I can think of.

Is anyone else playing through the 4 original games to prepare themselves?

I'm a Switch 2 player so will not play OotSS until final release, but I thought it would be good practice to go through Heroes of Sokoban, Mirror Isles, Skipping Stones to Lonely Homes, and Promesst. Have only messed with the first 3 but they get tough pretty quickly!

Who do I need to root for to secure USA an easy 3rd place team in rd of 32?

I would rather play a Bosnia and Herzegovina than, say, a Senegal or Sweden, but I have no idea how this 3rd place system works.

And spare me your "there are no easy opponents/let's just play what's ahead of us" comments lol

So which month do we think they're going to release?

Obviously the big elephant in the room is GTAVI, though the overlap between these two games is probably quite small. September/October has its own problems because of all the game devs avoiding November. Do you think OotSS needs to be concerned about these releases? When do you personally believe the game is going to release?

Best Santa Monica bars for USA vs. Australia tomorrow?

I would love to find a bar with a guaranteed good crowd for tomorrow afternoon's game in Santa Monica. I'm not looking to go to the Fan Events or anything, just a normal sports bar would do. Any recommendations?

Worst part about the demo...

Is that I have to avoid this sub now because people are discussing the game they've now played. I am a Switch 2 Day 1 but now I have to avoid hearing what you all say 😭. Selfish me wishes we were all starting at the same time but glad people get to try it out!

Minor PT for a few days, but just now felt a moment of Vertigo/Muffled hearing

The last few days I've had very minor PT in my right ear when I was in absolute silence. My general tinnitus is a bit higher than usual as well. It's been tolerable until just now, where I got this jolt of dizziness/vertigo and my right ear turned into this weird static sound. After 1-2 minutes it all subsided but it definitely scared me.

The whooshing goes away when I press against my neck so I'm assuming its the common type of PT that a lot of people have here. I guess my question is do people have weird episodes like I just described? I really don't want to have to go to the ER but I will definitely me contacting an ENT or my primary care doctor tomorrow. I'm in Los Angeles if anyone has any recommendations.
