Wondering if anybody that attended the Panthers smackdown, what did you enjoy in the stadium? Wondering what your impressions were like on the first day of the new menu.
"say cheese"
Been working on a posing word for a couple weeks, seems that "say cheese" starting to reliably get the big smiles out.
And yes they got some havarti afterwards
Well let's talk about the Gordie Howe Bridge
I've crossed this bridge 6 crossings, three each way as a FAST car hauler.
Every single time has been a 10-minute affair from the moment I get off the freeway, clear customs, clear the toll, and get back on the freeway
Compare this with the Ambassador Bridge. Where my average crossing time is over 30 minutes, and in a lot of cases 45 minutes plus especially with all the construction that was happening.
Most of this is savings also from the way that the Ambassador Bridge is laid out, you have to slow roll by customs, make the sharp turn after the tollgate. By comparison the Gordie Howe keeps you at 40 miles per hour right up to the booth, even if the outbound inspection lanes are open.
Biggest change however is how it connects to the interstate.
The Ambassador Bridge going into Canada drops you on to Huron Church Road, with its eight lights and 50 km an hour limit. It could take you 15 minutes to go the three miles to the highway on ramp. The Ambassador Bridge going into the United States, has you slow rolling around the duty-free compound until you get the option to take the 96 West, or the 75 South.
If you've driven Detroit, you know that the 96 to 94 to 75 North can be absolute gridlock during any daytime hours. Anybody that runs over dimensional higher than 13'11 has to take a meandering route to access the 75 North.
The Gordie Howe Bridge directly connects to the 75, you now have Street access to the 75 North without having to take the 96-94-75, and it's 14'2 all the way to Flint.
What's interesting right now, even though the bridge has been open for a few days. GPS says are still directing people to the Ambassador Bridge.
So far this week, I've gained almost 3 hours by taking the Gordie Howe bridge over the Ambassador if I factor in the lost productivity sitting in the Ambassador Bridge traffic.

F... Me. Matt Miller's crash released
The video of ESPN analyst Matt Miller’s horrific car crash has been released. Miller was driving in the opposite direction in the Ford Bronco. It appears he swerved into the wrong lane.
Anybody else get any Mr Freezies with no flavor?
Picked up a box last week when I had all the kids over, and every creamsicle was just water with zero flavor. A bunch of the blue raspberry were just blue water.
Took it back yesterday and customer service said that was like their 4th or 5th box back today.
Gordie Howe bridge opening delayed
ctvnews.caThis was a sphincter tightening moment
Found five of these little hitchhikers after grabbing some cars out of a thoroughly under maintained drop lot.
These scooters are prime for professional drivers.
I've been hauling around this Navee GT3 now for a few weeks and I'm thoroughly convinced on just how accessible it makes communities. Before I'd be stuck to truck stop food or whatever is near the local hotels I'm staying at, now anything within a 10 mile radius is fair game.
I have a 1000w of 120 volt power through the inverter to charge it during the day, I also have a Jackery that works in a pinch.
Anybody have any experience using a modified sine wave power converter like what's found in a truck, with their stock charging adapter.
Does anybody know of a 12 volt adaptable charger that will work on the Navee GT3.
