Tips for sending a French RCIR to the US?

Looking to send my brother-in-law a French RCIR. I'm located in the Netherlands, shipping to San Antonio, Texas. Does anyone have any suggestions to prevent US Customs from ripping into this thing and taking components out?

Most likely I will ship via PostNL unless someone has a better option.

Need advice with Travel Portal

Booked a room through the travel portal because it specifically says roll-away beds are available for a surcharge. This detail is included in my reservation confirmation email.

Checked into hotel and was told that roll-away beds are not possible in any of their Superior rooms because of City of Boston fire codes. They have no resolution for me, and it's a non-refundable reservation.

Called Chase Travel Portal and it was kind of incoherent because the representative kept saying it's based on availability and the particular hotel. I told her no, Chase's portal says this room can have a roll-away bed and the hotel says that's never a possibility under any circumstance. She didn't seem to understand and told me there's nothing she can do.

It seems like bait and switch to me. We chose this room and this hotel based on the availability of roll-away beds, specifically. Now we have a person sleeping on the floor.

Does anyone have any suggestions here? It seems like Chase is acting as the travel agent here and should be the one taking responsibility for the erroneous information on their site. I'll be grateful for any input.

Short-dated Bond?

******EDIT: Thanks, folks! I see where my misunderstanding is. Appreciate the input.*******

Very new to this, but I have a question. Looking at a particular bond with a month left to maturity and Yield to Maturity of 2.275%. The way I understand this is that I buy $1000 worth, and on Aug 11 it matures and they pay me $1022.75.

Am I hilariously wrong? What is the downside? I'm happy to grab a 2.275% return for a 30 day investment.

Any covered call ETFs old enough to have survived a downturn?

It seems like every covered call ETF I look at is no older than 2022. Are any of them old enough to have survived a downturn in the market? Would be nice to know how the came through it.
