July price check!

I am almost halfway into my second month and starting to look at my next shipment. I originally ordered through Rift in May. I will say I’ve had zero problems and am perfectly fine reordering through them but want to make sure the price is still competitive. I ordered under a promo previously. For my next order, I’m looking at $499/3 months. Any companies that beat that? I’ll be on 7.5mg when I reorder.

Less than half!

Took my first shot Thursday night (almost 48 hrs ago).

Tonight I made dinner using my normal portions. I was actually hungry as I was cooking but as soon as I sat down and took a bite, I knew I would be able to eat much. I divided it half and proceeded to eat. I’ve ate about 1/2 of the half and don’t really feel like eat any more. Before, I would have just continued to eat because it was there and I was raised to be part of the “clean plate club”.

Surely it can’t make this much of a difference in 48 hrs? Is it just a mind thing? Like I mind knows I’m on the shot so it’s acting the part for a few days?

The whole bowl is:
6 oz shredded chicken
3 oz queso
4.5 oz black beans
1 c brown rice, cooked
2.5 salsa
Sprinkle with taco seasoning, salt, paprika, lemon juice

Ready to Start!

First shipment received!
Ordered Saturday (of the holiday weekend), shipped late Tuesday, arrived Thursday (today).

I’m torn between doing my first shot tonight, or waiting until Monday (1st of the month). I had originally plan to wait until Monday because I wasn’t sure when I would get my shipment.

Im considering starting tonight because I’m ready but tbh, I’ve not ate great today. Does that make a difference? I am fairly hydrated, but not overly so. I haven’t had dinner yet so I could throw some extra protein in if needed.

What’s your actual intake?

I’ll preface this by saying I’m new to GLP-1s and am still learning all the things. I have not started a GLP-1 yet, as I am very anxious about it. I am still researching and trying to settle on what is best for me.

One of my biggest questions is: how much are you actually eating a day? What are eating? When are eating? How does it differ from pre-GLP-1?

For reference, I’m a 35F, 250lbs, 5’5”, have PCOS, and trying to maintain a calorie deficit diet (1800-1900) but actual calories are in the 2200-2400/day range. I have always struggled with overeating and sticking with a diet. I already have trouble with not feeling hungry but eating anyway, even though I know I probably shouldn’t. I do not struggle to get protein currently.
