Why is no one talking about this? Did they plan references to TESVI that far ahead?
Has anyone ripped the texture of the Wolff Globe?
This item intrigues me so much as someone who loves alternate history. This part of its
description especially:
>While the continents and oceans are recognizably those of Earth, careful examination has revealed numerous [REDACTED] and other geographic additions that do not exist on our planet. One of these islands has a city marked on it, named "Tan Relio".
Since the globe has an actual in-game model, I wonder if they just used a generic globe texture or if they actually altered it.
(Finale spoilers) Something that really bothers me in the discourse surrounding Jax's gender
A lot of people seem to be tripped up by Leeroy seemingly still using he/him pronouns. I've seen people say it's proof they're just a GNC femboy, or that it means they're genderfluid, or some other explanation to explain why they didn't switch to she/her. And reading these explanations makes it painfully obvious how seeminglty few people here have actually spoken to trans women.
- I think it'd be safe to say that the average trans woman doesn't just instantly socially transition after realizing she's trans, nor is the path to it same for every trans woman. Some may start by experimenting with pronouns, names, others may start with clothes. Especially considering Leeroy's family situation it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that Leeroy wouldn't instantly change their name and pronouns the way some people here think a "true" trans woman would.
- What we know of Leeroy's situation irl is all based on their public info online that Caine could find. Leeroy had immense issues with coming out to people they're close with, much less transitioning their public internet profile. Being comfortable with talking how they've been frequenting a queer bar is already a massive step in that direction, and we don't know what sort of steps towards transitioning they might have taken that ISN'T publicly available.
People discounting that Leeroy might be a trans woman simply based off the pronouns just really bothered me as a trans woman who was in the closet for years before I could transition socially once I got into a stable situation.
Update on my Tomodachi post: I created Nayuta's head as a pet for Denji to eternally remind him of how much he hurt those around him and how little he deserves
I created Denji in tomodachi life, put him in a prison cell surrounded by a replica of the backrooms and only feed him cancer cigarettes. Seeing him suffer makes me so happy.
I created a concept for a rework of the default Skyrim UI inside Unity for a school project. Do you prefer it over the original?
My goal was to make a UI that is more navigable and provides more useful information than the vanilla UI, without straying too far from the original art direction of the inventory.
I made the following adjustments:
- Every item list now includes the weight and value of the objects.
- Additional stats are also shown when relevant (such as damage for weapons and armor for apparel that has it).
- The "All" inventory additionally includes icons that indicate what category an item is in.
- For each of the things I mentioned, the item list would be able to be sorted by them.
- When an item does not have specific statistics to show in its box (such as effects or enchantments), it shows a little flavor text for it. It's more of a fun little addition, and for this I pulled the flavor text from Blades for the weapons and armor.
I also added subcategories for each major category so that a player would be able to isolate a specific kind of item they're looking for more easily. In service of that I restructured the categories a bit in a way that made more sense to me.
Here's the biggest changed I made to the categories:
- Merged Ingredients and Potions into a single Alchemy category with Potions, Poisons and Ingredients as subcategories (my reasoning for that is that you don't really need to quickly access ingredients from your inventory as most of the time you'll only interact with them at an Alchemy Lab, so they don't need their own major category).
- Created a new Beverages subcategory under Food that beverages are moved to instead of being listed under Potions.
- Subcategories under Scrolls for each school of magic, plus a Special subcategory for scrolls that don't fall within the 5 schools.
- Renamed the Books category to Writings and added Books, Notes and Spell Tomes as subcategories.
- A new Materials category for anything that the player would use for crafting, smithing, homesteading, etc.
- Changed the Keys category into a subcategory under Misc (you basically never have to interact with keys inside your inventory since they don't weight or cost anything so I think they really don't need their own major category).
I'd love to hear what you all think about my concept!
Been getting alternating internet spikes between high and low and I'm running out of ways to fix it
Had this issue for a few weeks at this point. This is probably the lowest I've managed to get it to, usually the high spikes are between 500 and 1000+ms, but it's always like this: constantly alternating between low and high.
I've tried the following:
- changing my ethernet cable
- updating my ethernet adapter's driver
- rebooting my network switch
- setting the "Energy Efficient Ethernet" and "Interrupt Moderation" settings of my ethernet adapter to off inside the device manager.
- setting the "Speed & Duplex" setting both "1.0 Gbps Full Duplex" and "100 Mbps Full Duplex"
The most that I've achieved with these is changing how high the high spikes are (sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse) but the initial problem still remains. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
