Are joybuy returns as good as Amazon?

I'm struggling to choose between two items, if I buy one and return it if it doesn't suit my needs, will joybuy be on the more lenient side? Amazon usually doesn't have issues when I occasionally do this and I return everything in practically unused condition.

Anybody have experience with this? I was chatting with one of the joybuy express drivers and they said as an example they had some customers return items like a portable AC after 6 months after the heatwave ended, not sure how true it is though.

PS5 or Xbox SX (As a PC user with free game pass)

Xbox series x with disc drive - £425~

PS5 digital slim - £500-£550

I already have Xbox game pass ultimate for free from my phone plan but I don't use it on PC much.

I'm only really interested in GTA 6, maybe astrobot but not sure if it's worth that price increase ATM

My only worry is that there's no news about PS/XBOX crossplay so I might not be able to play with a good chunk of friends and I'd imagine Xbox lobbies will be less busy, plus rockstar says gta 6 is best played on ps5 but I don't really known what that means.

Are the adaptive triggers on ps5 really that good as well?

Edit: also wanted to add that I'll probably sell them once I'm done with GTA 6 and if there's even a small chance a new ps5 today can get Linux eventually that's a massive selling point to me, might even keep it if there's a chance.

Guy self-hosts global app from his home outside Amsterdam off-grid with 150 solar panels and 540kWh battery

Pretty awesome, I think this is the self-hosting final boss role model we should strive to be like 😂

He even uses heat from the server racks to warm his pool, nothing wasted

What networks do you guys port out to to get new Lebara customer offers?

Last time I switched to id mobile for like 4 quid, and I've gotten my £25 gift card today, just wanted to know if there was a better way next time. I don't mind having 0 data for a few days (how long should I wait to port back?) as I have a temporary number I can use for free for a month.

I also have a 9esim physical eSIM, can I get my Lebara number straight onto that instead of having it physically posted? I heard some issues about the new physical and eSIMs so I'm not even sure if it's worth doing this for the new customer offers if it's really as bad as people say.

Edit: it was spusu not id mobile

Anybody purchasing the season 6 Blu-ray? Need a RIP if possible

I'm the one who made the kingdom release post with 1080p video and multiple different softsubs

I started making a high quality Blu-ray V2 version but had to stop halfway due to life but I have more free time now, before starting again I wanted to obtain the S6 Blu-ray (apparently released a few days ago) so I can make a full Blu-ray release. The yellow-flash source I've used took over a year after Blu-ray release to make their S5 nyaa release, so I can't rely on that. Thought this place would have the highest chance of having someone purchasing the Japanese Blu-ray and would be willing to share.

Any help would be appreciated :)

How to get old YT 15.43 grey background back?

I miss the old 15.43 grey background a lot, it's more pleasing to the eyes than today's full black, but the version of revanced I have doesn't have a spoof for this version, and iirc the spoof was only for yt shorts players not the colour of the UI when I tried it a while back.

Is there still a way to get this back?

Are my airpods pro 3 a potential stalking device if I only use it with android?

I don't own any apple devices except the Airpods pro 3, from what I understand if I put them in pairing mode in public and somebody just clicks "connect" the airpods will be added to their iCloud and find my and they can see exactly where I am at all times and I won't be able to remove this, and if that person decides to not press "forget device" I'll be SOL and have to live with a bug on me at all times without even knowing unless I pay apple hundreds of dollars for a phone. Almost seems like blackmail to me if this is true.

Is this the case or am I misunderstanding?

Edit: correction

"Agentic AI... [has a] token consumption 20-30x compared to standard generative AI" - introl

Official Nvidia official networking FB account: "Agentic AI is pushing memory and storage to new limits. A single 100K-token context can require up to 50GB of KV cache."

Agentic AI is already projected to cause a CPU shortage as it is heavily dependent on CPU and will use more memory. The industry seems to see agentic AI as the next big trend so we could see them buying even more RAM than before.

From my research lots of people are saying this is a massive security risk too - basically agentic AI does more things automatically, you give it a task and instead of just generating a response from a prompt it will also be able to act upon that prompt, automatically with no human input until completion and is also prone to hallucinations. (You see where this is going? 😭)

Like an example use case I keep seeing is autonomous financial trading, it can now potentially hallucinate the wrong number of stocks to buy and bankrupt the entire company. Instead of a generative AI telling a human to do that and the human maybe using common sense and saying "no that's silly, I won't do that", it will do it itself without asking. Other use cases I see advertised are medical diagnosis and cybersecurity automation.

Also just to note, 20-30x more tokens used probably doesn't mean 20-30x VRAM usage. I can't find numbers on HOW much more RAM it requires, but every source seems to say it will use more.

Might be a good idea to buy a CPU now if you've been saving up for one for a while, but it might be too early to tell now. Let's hope the crash happens before this takes off 🤞
