His mythic skin could actually have been peak if it was actually worked out properly with actual customization, more colors instead of pretty much black mostly and proper VFX as his ambient VFX, his sprint and Tactical Visor effects are very lackluster and barely visible

And his weapon skin has an absolutely low effort flourish effect while pretty much everyone else has actually interesting ones. Also even the pattern around the ultimate ability meter feels half assed as it's barely anything, and the weapon is still bugged with it reverting back to zero when you die

Why does it feel like the devs keep half assing things when it comes to Soldier76 even though he's a very popular hero? It's actually infuriating when looking at what other heroes have meanwhile he has so many missed opportunities and half finished content

To me it's the Justice League cuz ever since the Overwatch Cavalry account dropped that quality render of Soldier76 as Superman a few months ago I need that to happen

With the Biotic Field one without the push mechanic too it would already be good if the Field would follow him around

And Tactical Visor targeting multiple enemies would make it more dangerous and maybe not a cosmetic ult after years of being that

Come on Overwatch just let him adopt her finally, I need my found family father-daughter duo who would help each other heal 💔

We all know and see mythics recently, how lackluster they are. And while I like S76's mythic I'm still disappointed with it.

Looking at other recent mythics as well it barely has any ambient VFX. His sprint also only has a few little rays coming out of his ankles, but nothing else.

His Tactical Visor in 1st person only has a slight HUD change, while in 3rd person too only a lackluster shape change.

They could have given him some lightning/electric ambient VFX instead of that small flow on energy he has now considering the theme of the skin.

The worst part is that with some more details it would actually be a very sick mythic, but in this state it's barely a legendary plus category...

Honestly people should be loud about the current situation with mythics like with Anran's face or the anniversary rewards to get the devs attention have them update these recent mythics.

And while it's everyone's own decision to buy them, it's very unfair how we wait years for our favourite heroes to get mythics and while the ones who were lucky enough to get them early on have actual mythic tier skins, we are left with the ones with obviously less effort in them

Ever since Overwatch started making Pride events back in 2023 the game always banned it in Hungary. Alongside everything connecting to LGBTQ themes like icons, banners, skins, short stories, even interractions.

Meanwhile other major games such as Valorant, Apex Legends, Dead by Daylight, Call of Duty, Halo etc all make their LGBTQ related things available here every year. And none of these games faced any legal issues over making them available.

Fortnite too which is much more popular in the younger generation here makes their own dedicated slot for Pride/LGBTQ items in their shop tab and had no problem redeeming them. Riot for example even makes blog posts in hungarian about Pride every year.

We also had a elections recently and changed the old government to a new one that's supportive of LGBTQ people and wants to remedy the discrimination of the old regime. Our new Prime Minister expressed how he wants a country where no one is discriminated by sexuality or identity multiple times and is supportive of the annual Pride parade as well. Surveys also show the support for LGBTQ people among the population is higher than ever.

Could Overwatch finally revise their decision of banning it all here and finally allow us to enjoy LGBTQ content of the game as well?

I would love to see him have the anti-heal rockets he had in the last Halloween mode, maybe trough a perk that every like 15-20 seconds his regular Helix Rockets can be toggled to an anti-heal one.

It would be a pretty unique ability among DPS/hitscans which is something he really needs with how they keep introducing new heroes similar to him while they keep him unchanged, as his sprint reload too in his base kit should have happened years ago and not after more than a year of no change at all to him outside of perks...

Mythic skins are basically glorified legendary skins at this point for the same price and we still get the amount of shards without outright buying them like when they made mythics with actual customization.

But even if they let go of the customization, even the VFX that they said they focus on now in mythics us seriously lacking. I love Soldier76's mythic skin, but the fact that the VFX is barely visible on it really makes me think I'm just using a legendary skin and from the promo it looks like the new Ana mythic will have the same issue.

Instead all the talk is about how Ana is young and nothing about how the skin itself is lacking. Soldier76, Ana, Reaper etc they got young skins back in OW1 too already and they only started giving them again recently after years of nothing yet people act like it's all they get, when Soldier76 too for example gets old ones just the same as he got Colder76 a season ago.

Could we please redirect the heat of this whole debate towards the more glaring issue of the mythic skins quality dropping majorly?
