Wheels and tires

Update: the LJ is back on the road after the crash in front of the house. My mechanic said he thinks it would look and perform better with 35” tires on 15x10 wheels instead of the current 33” on 15x8. What’s the consensus on this? Not doing any hard core rock crawling. Mostly trails with some decent obstacles (roots, ruts, rocks).

10 day road trip

California to Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and home. Ten days of travel to see some National Parks. Yes, had to do some laundry about half way through.

Friday afternoon a guy came around the corner a little hot and “looked away for just a second”. So much for wheeling next week.

Torn between staying for three days in Luzern or Interlaken. I know it will be too early in the season for very many mountain hikes and too late for any real winter sports. With that in mind, I’m trying to decide if our group of four should make our home base in Luzern and make the day trips to Murren, Lauterbrunnen or Gimmelwald or stay in Interlaken and visit Luzern for a day trip.
