​We’ve been organizing local sports in the Whatcom and Skagit County area for the past two years, and we're putting together an adult sports group to bring people together, get active, and build a solid local network.

​This is a 100% free, non-fee community built entirely by volunteers and local enthusiasts for adults 18 and older. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, someone just looking to get out of the house, or someone who wants to help get a specific game or activity off the ground, everyone from all backgrounds and skill levels is invited to join.

​What we’re all about:

​Adults 18+: A dedicated space for adult recreational play and socializing.

​Zero Fees: No league dues, no "pay-to-play" barriers, and no hidden costs. Just local people organizing events.

​Community-Led: We aren't tied to one single sport. We want to be the hub for whatever the community wants to organize—whether that's pick-up games, seasonal activities, or starting something entirely new.

​All Skill Levels: Whether you’re looking for a competitive environment or just a casual way to stay active and meet new people, there is a spot for you here.

​Our Goal: To bring people together, have some fun, and build a cool, long-lasting local community.

​With all the constant NBA expansion talk, it got me thinking about the venue side of things in Seattle.

​Since the Kraken ownership group holds a major stake in Climate Pledge Arena, does that basically lock out any other outside investor group?

​I mean, look at it: an outside group would either have to lease the building from their direct competitors or somehow privately fund and build a whole new arena from scratch in Seattle, which is a massive headache.

​Since the arena was already built with NBA specs in mind, it feels like the hockey owners hold all the leverage and are the obvious default choice for the league. Does an outside group even have a realistic shot at this point, or is it basically locked down if/when expansion happens?
