The bare minimum is enough .
That's all I have to say. Hard work only gets rewarded with more work and after years of busting my ass i realized that time doing things you enjoy is more important than trying to impress people at companies that don't care for you.
If I don't need or want to do overtime I won't. If it's work that I'm not supposed to be doing than most liekly I won't do it. I've seen people get promoted and it's always the people who don't do anything and have connections. The only thing that matters is who you know because working hard doesn't mean shit if you don't know anyone or you don't play suck up. Fuck that. Show up and do your job and that's all the matters you don't have to go above the standard unless you truly want to because 9/10 times you'll burn yourself out and have nothing tk show for it.
Im at the point to where I'll show up, just do what's required of me and go home I'm tired of helping and doing extra and still being treated like disposable garbage. Enjoy life and hobbies outside work because work will drain you mentally and physically.
