Hello! I'm considering on using DavinciResolve for first time, on Windows10. And, if technically possible and as last resort, SteamDeck. I like to watch older things on my 4:3 tv monitor. But the most easiest way to convert / watch them is "pillarboxed" (back bars on upper, lower side.) But I wish I could crop everything... The only other problem I'll be facing is to try to have a good eye on every scene - what to keep centered and what to move. Has anyone pan-&-scanned to 4:3 on DavinciResolve before? Does anyone have any advice?

I'm trying to find a radio app that's not only is simple (open-source, no ads & other crap), but also looks good on e-ink display! Does anyone have recommendations? There's a lot of them on F-Droid, but not sure which'll be best for Kompakt.

My post-office already told me how US can be very strict with their orders. But, now, not only will I need to weigh every item precisely (all 3 dolls & snacks/candy that I'll gift,) but I'll also need to measure how big "enough" is my Sylvanian? Can someone tell me what I need to do, take notes of, before sending the gift to US?

Es daudz neizmantoju "Bolt", tikai dažas reizes gadā vai vienreiz mēnesī. Bet nesen sāku lasīt "Ir" žurnālu (es zinu, izklausas vecmodīgi,) iedziļinājos rakstā par "Bolt" monopoliju Latvijā. Vai tiešām nav nekādu taksometra alternatīvu ar kuru var pārvietoties, vismaz, Rīgā? Un ja tie eksistē, vai tie nav dārgāki?

I wanted to listen to internet-radio while walking outside, but it seems that no page loads at all without Wi-Fi. I just get the "connection timed out". I also tried to choose specific network, turned off "Automatically selected network", chose "Tele2", but it still doesn't work. Is that a common issue?

I only recently heard about and seen 2 clips of of US graduates booing at pro-AI speeches (UCF graduation's "AI industrial revolution" and Eric Schmidt at ASU commencement.) I try to understand more context and how it actually felt like in the room when they happened, how did the "full" speech went & so on... But it's really hard to find any "full" recordings of them, only re-posted clips from news-compnies. Can anyone help me finding them, what would be the best resource for that purpose? (excluding Google, f that search-engine.)

When I got (V2) Switch in 2021, I... mostly... liked it when I was just playing with my sibling, the only reason I kept it besides games (especially "Splatoon", "Miitopia" and "Klonoa Remake"). But now I just don't care about it, have no energy to invest in it. We're not subscribing to Online anymore & I dislike Nintendo. To me, Switch didn't feel like a good, feature-rich Nintendo-esque console. I always expected it to be more interesting when years passed with updates. Like a DS console (that I never used unfortunately,) but advanced! But no, not only we had to pay subscription for network-connectivity (something you weren't required to do before,) but it also offered less compared to previous consoles - no themes, basic Android-esque UI, no well-composed music in background, buggy eShop, no fun & interesting apps like video-players (I really enjoyed watching YT videos on it,) heavy restriction & DRM to the point that I'm afraid that'll turn my Switch into expensive brick! And now I feel like a lower-class citizen when there's more priorities & releases for Switch "Two" - another over-expensive console with heavier DRM.

Should I sell my Switch and use that money to buy modded DS, with lots of features & internet (I live in Baltic States if that helps)? Or should I just pay 80-90 EUR for modchip service & enjoy what modded Switch might offer (video-player apps and emulation maybe)? Only other thing I have is (512GB) SteamDeck OLED, though I started to see some flaws...
