'Whistle'

So this entire movie is predicated on a Mayan death whistle that haunts and kills anyone who blows it/and or hears it right? I mean I love the nostalgic teen scream horror as much as the next shmo. My expectations arent sky high going into a movie that falls into this category in regards to character depth/arc etc, but I have to say, this makes zero sense! Why would the Mayans build a device that kills that kills themselves?! They were obviously built to instill fear into the people hearing it not blowing it! I mean come on, they could have atleast wrote the script to incur death on anyone *but* the one who blows it! This would allow for such a more nuanced plot to unfold through friendly fire or even taking out a mean girl or two before the inevitable moment of clarity. To the writer(s), you really *blew it*.. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Does anyone else notice a bad smell coming from City of Racine water?

I live in Racine on North side. For last few months the water almost smells like well water. Sulphuric and also a sickly sweet smell. I've used enzyme based pipe/drain cleaning materials but ive noticed the smell is coming directly from the water not the pipes. Concerning. I dont drink the water but still we bathe and wash our dishes in it. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Utah residents push back after Kevin O’Leary’s data center plan turns out to be 40,000 acres, not 40,000 square feet

Saw this coming a mile a away. Pretty simple modus operandi. Bribe local politicians with Foxconn type promises. Only meaningful substancial guaranteed jobs are the folks contracted to build these shitshows. You can research area in PNW where theyve dealt with these poisonous destructive and redundant A.I. data centers. Few in local power line their pockets sign NDAs and push these approvals through faster then a speeding bullet and before you know it, our energy and water is being used at astronomical levels, our wild life is endangered through ground aquifer, light, and chemical pollution. All so they can produce artificial intelligence to take our jobs . . Do your research ppl and fight this tooth and nail. There is zero upside if you are working class and love what wildlife we have left in this state!!!

I've been saying this well before his latest hitting streak. FO needs to lock this man down with a 2-3 year extension perhaps 3rd year as an option. I understand the Crews modus operandi, buy low sell high. I get it and I understand it and im for it in most instances. This time is different. Quero or not. William Contreras is the beating heart of this team. He embodies the principles that Pat Murphy preaches to a tee. He doesn't take a day off and he's one of, if not outright the best at his position. I think he's currently ranked #2 out of all catchers in MLB. He caught 90-100 mph pitches with a broken finger all last season and now that he's healthy, this recent hot streak could be just the tip of the iceberg. If thats the case and team waits, we have no shot at extending him at season's end. He'll simply be out of Crews price and another piece on the board, but he isnt just another piece on the board and it is feasible to lock hom down now (or very near future). The man literally bleeds Milwaukee (see photo #4) and obviously wants to stay here where he belongs. He literally wrote a love letter to the fans last October. Like wtf who does that?!? Wild Bill does that...and many many other things. For the Crew to make a deep run next year or the year after, they need Wild Bill steering the ship. Please please please dont give him the Adames/Peralta treatment. It hurt to watch those guys go but I understand why it had to be done. This time its different. He is our captain and he is our MVP in every sense of the phrase, regardless of what happens over the next few seasons, THANK YOU William "Wild Bill" Contreras for giving us everything youve got and more on a daily/nightly basis. Milwaukee loves you always. You are *Milwaukee Brewers Baseball*!!!!

Was he the last President who possessed an ounce of genuine integrity and actual empathy for the American people? Any ideas on who or what he was talking about beyond vague term "deep$tate"??
