Just browsing this sub and wondering what the average cost is. I’m smart enough to know my limitations on being able to actually build one lol.

Tried to show it to someone and I can’t find it on Facebook anymore.

I was telling my best friend about how this girl added me on Facebook and messaged me that I hadn’t spoken to in about 5 years. Anyways, the girl told me she lied to me about her age back then and said she was 20 but was really 17.
My best friend freaked out and called me predatory and manipulative because this makes it two women that lied about their ages online. To be clear NOTHING SEXUAL HAPPENED we just shared common music interests and bonded over that. Both are in relationships that are healthy and have kids.

But now my best friend thinks the absolute worst of me. She’s known me for more than half our lives and knows I’m not some predator. I was just active on social media a lot 5 years ago. I’ve made it clear and even shown screenshots where they clearly say that we did not do anything and they admit to lying about their age. Has anyone gone through anything like this before?

So we had a very bad break up and she decided to make some accusations and is now trying to claim I’m stalking her on social media and calling her from private numbers (I’m not). Only heard about this because her friend reached out to me telling me to leave her alone. So I called her local PD and Sheriff’s Office to ask if any reports have been made that include my name and they told me no.

Were they just trying to bait me into thinking she called LE or did the officer she spoke with just not find her credible enough to make a report?

So I live on the west coast and my ex lives on the east coast. I dated her and the age gap was weird but we talked about it and still have it a shot for like a month or so after talking extensively about it for 6 months.

We broke up and I guess after the break up is when the age difference really started to show. I moved on with my life and was cordial with her, but then all of a sudden I get a text from her best friend saying I need to stop stalking her and she’s going to the police to get a protective order and so on. I told him to go ahead and give the police my number. Then he said someone called her from a restricted number and swears it was me. I said all she has to do is go to the phone provider and ask to see the call history because they’ll have that.

Hadn’t heard anything about it since and then tonight she randomly tells me that the police have my name and all this shit.

I again denied it because I’m an adult and if I want to talk to someone I’ll just text or call them and not hide behind anything.

I’m just looking for advice on how to handle this. Again, I recognize the age gap and it was the only time I have ever had a relationship with a gap and will never make that mistake again. What has your experience been like with people claiming stalking after a break up?
