Comparable to a St. Croix 7'6 medium fast mojo inshore

So I went to buy a kayak rod/reel combo. Reds, snook, sheepshead, trout.

Was thinking about a St. Croix mojo inshore 7'6 medium fast with a 2500 penn spinfisher.

I want the spinfisher because I am bad with washing my rods post trip as I stay out in the sun all day and just pass out when I get home. From my understanding spinfisher is a tank and super resistant to spray.

When asking guy at bass pro jobs for recommendations for a rod he left out St. Croix entirely.

I own a jig baitcaster for bass fishing and have had it for 10 years with no issues and love it. I see there's a lot of hate for tip breaking.

What are some comparable rods? Looking for lighter weight to counter the spinfishers weight.

Recommendations for kayak mangrove fishing

I'm just getting to get into kayak fishing in the flats/mangroves.

I normally either fish with light tackle for freshwater bass/trout, from piers or boats with short rods for grouper, or from the beach with 8 foot surf rods.

I just realized I have a decent size gap in my tackle. I haven't bought tackle in 9 ish years now and feel a little out of the game.

I'm looking for a versatile rod/reel. Would be doing fishing in the flats for trout/reds, mangrove fishing for reds and snook, and bridge/piling fishing for sheepshead.

I will be using both life and artificial bait.

Was thinking of a 7' medium heavy fast action with a 4000.

I normally go towards high quality gear. Most of the salt water reels are penn battle 2 or penn spinnfisher 5 live liners. My ride are all the old good ugly sticks from 20 years ago lol.

I'm just overwhelmed with how many choices there are on Amazon for everything and really don't know much about them.

Was thinking of making a trip to bass pro shops to look at and compare everything. But want to have a game plan going in, cause going into that store not knowing what you want is not safe for my wallet.

Don't know if I wanna spend $200+ on a spinnfisher quality reel.

Not 100% sure if I want to split the funds I have between 2 combos, to have a secondary rod on the kayak to switch back and forth on, or if I wanna spend it all on one combo.

Any recommendations would be amazing.

Uptick in CTR/man-made wind/hail damage.

I've been a CAT adjust for a 6 years now. I have on rare occasions have had claims where the damage was man made, by either the CTR or the homeowner. Probably one every few months.

In the past 4 months I have had more man made simulated wind/hail damage, then I have had my entire career.

When I pull the ISO report on the contractor that did the door knocking I see 100+ NICB Referrals.

These are clear as day simulated wind/hail damage. Engineers are all coming back saying 100% man-made damages.

Has anyone else seen this giant trend?

What's infuriating is nothing gets done, we spend extra money for an engineer or a SIU investigation, and in the end the homeowner just files a police report and we cover it under vandalism, and suddenly the wind/hail deductible is gone.

If we don't go down that route then there it's just letting all contractors know they can just cause all the damage and get full roofs whenever they want.

I know it's not the homeowners, no homeowner is getting up on a 2 story 11/12 and playing around with shingles.

Recommendations for vacuum only with IFTTT

I am looking to replace my roomba that just shit the bed.

It's for my second floor which is entirely carpeted. It does have an open stairwell that I want it not to fall down and go through my window.

The thing I loved about my IRobot is I used IFTTT (IF that then that) to link my litter robot to my roomba so 5 minutes after the cat uses the litter box the roomba went and cleaned the area around it to get any litter that fell out.

I've read everyones recommendations on other posts and everyone is saying the mova v50 or the dreamehome 50. But those are vacuum/mop combos and I don't want to spend extra for mopping features for an entirely carpeted floor

Ok I'm stumped on this one

So hail claim. Other marks on the roof are clearly blisters. I just can't explain this one. It crosses two shingles and is semi symmetrical.

Hail date is almost a year ago, it's way too fresh to be from that hail storm and there is virtually no collateral on the roof/soft metals. No other home on the street has filed a hail claim in the last 4 years.

Does anyone have any theories or seen something that spans 2 shingles like this?

It has to be an impact mark right?
