Is my Samsung UN75NU8000 about to fail?

My Samsung UN75NU8000 from 2018 turns off on its own, started a couple years ago happening every couple of months, now it's every couple of weeks. I don't believe it's any settings causing it.

It's only 8 years old, and I would really rather not replace it for another couple years if possible. Is this a telltale sign it is about to go?

The image seems fine. The remote also stopped working a few years ago (seems to be a common problem, but thankfully the app on my phone lets me control it, so not worried about that).

What annual interest rate does Questrade give on positive CAD cash balances in my TFSA and RRSP?

What annual interest rate does Questrade give on positive CAD cash balances in my TFSA and RRSP?

Is it 0? (Thus it perpatually loses money to inflation).

If so, if I want to keep part of my portfolio in "dry powder" form (be more conservative), should I consider having it in something like "CASH.TO" instead?

Should I basically never leave any of my portfolio sitting in basic liquid cash?

Does it matter the account type? (TFSA, RRSP versus regular non-registered)

PC World Elite Mastercard for car rental in Alberta

If I use my PC World Elite Mastercard to rent a car in Alberta, say from Routes or Avis or Budget etc. Will I still want to buy the insurance that the car rental company offers? Different parts of the insurance maybe?

What risks or headaches are there with getting or not getting the insurance? Thanks

Where can I see the profit / loss I made after selling an ETF?

Before a trade goes through, it shows you your profit / loss of that position held, but as soon as the trade is done, that information is no longer shown in an obvious place. But it must exist somewhere, but finding that is hard to locate. There's no reason why we should have to note these down manually to track ourselves each time before we sell is there?!?!?

UPDATE - FOUND IT!!!! (seeing if I can update the post title...)

Ok leaving this post as an update for others to know as I now finally found where to get this information! 😆 By getting on a call with a representative that was more knowledgeable, and even they originally thought we had to calculate it manually, but as I explained how silly that is considering the calculation was already done and shown to the user up until just before the trade is placed, we explored the site more and we discovered it together! 😆

You have to go to the top -> Apps -> Questrade Edge -> click green button "Add Questrade Edge" -> "Go to Questrade Edge" button (I chose the Web version) -> Click "Try Questrade Pro" button (which yes it's free, and it's still in Beta V0.4 as of this moment), then under Account -> Executions and choose the proper date range via drop down that contains that Sell, it will have a column that is Net P&L which finally shows this key information.

Even the represenative agreed that it's quite the oversight that this is not so readily available.

I recall the TTC route has one route that sounds like it should be fastest because it takes you to the closest subway station (VMC) but it is actually a lot slower because the bus from there has frequent stops.

  1. Vaughn Metropolitan Center Station + 020 (slower, even though VMC Station is closer)
  2. Highway 407 Station + 320 Bus is faster even though the 407 Station is further than the VMC Station due to the bus making many more stops.

Can anyone confirm if I have that correct? Is the 320 the "Express" bus? Bus 026 is also listed as an option. Thanks
