Whites were slaves to rich whites. Blacks and poorer whites were comrades many times throughout history, and have fought against rich white men together. Bacon's rebellion and many other instances in Virginia. But we focus on black slaves to create division early on in children.

Can you imagine the stark difference we'd see if children were taught this? Like, yeah whites enslaved blacks but most didn't own slaves. And whites were enslaved too. And guess what? Black and whites came together to fight back many many times.

That'd change everything. But of course they can't teach the kids that. The elites thrive off of division.

Red paper wasps in my ceiling above my bedroom.

I can hear them buzzing, chewing through the wood, etc. they're in various areas in the ceiling of my room and hangout by my window. I've got someone coming in a few days.

It's so fucking gross, ugh. Fuck wasps.

Why tf is it so hard to get in touch with fellow classmates for a GROUP project??

We're seniors, this is an upper level course. Why tf are you not checking your email. "Oh, mb man I don't check my emails like that." "You texted me? My apologies I was busy." I'm about this close.

Why tf are Americans showing more fight for Palestine than their own country? Our country is ran by people who don't give a shit about us

America has a population of 340 million. There are about 10 million crimes a year. There were 11,679 hate crime incidents recorded in 2024. Our entire perception of this country is based on cherry picked events selected by media for us to consume. This hatred our fellow American' have is by design.

I'm taking accounting information systems and half of the class are on their second attempt. The professor is horrible. Not teaching well is one thing, but when your exams don't exactly reflect what's in the textbook, that's an entirely different issue. She calls her exams "abstract". Meaning you have to know the insides and out of the entire course material to figure out her puzzles. Literal paragraphs.

I need a 90% on the final to pass the class. Two of my friends dropped (great students) because they're taking it with a different professor in the summer. Most of the class dropped. Everyone else that I personally know and stayed are cheating. I'm also taking intermediate II with this at the same time. I don't know if there's any advice I could use, but I guess I just needed to vent.

Upper Accounting courses are hard as hell.
