I had these all speed painted to table top quality for years but finally got around to finishing them up. Going to finish up the clan invasion box next!

Minka Lesk from the Hell’s Last box set, I liked the model, had just the right amount of detail for me.

Just going through my backlog and wanted to finish up some minis I had speed painted to table top standard many years back, this one was from the box set. Before and after pic included!

Had the set speed painted (with actual army painter speed paints 2.0) for tabletop and it was sitting in a display case for a while. Actually got back to it to do the face, I had to do a lot of contours to adjust the look of the face and one thing lead to another and I took it too far. I ended up having to scale back a bit to get some of that serious look back though and tinting the hair a bit. I’ll do the rest of the model at some point too.

Got it at release and took a few months chipping away at it an hour or two here and there. Whole collection at the end. I might add the contemptor and rhinos at some point but for now I’m happy with where I’m at.

All from the saturnine box. Bits from various kits including skitarii and sicarian infiltrators for the barrels, heads from forgeworld, various tactical bits from imperial guard kits like Krieg engineer, power sword from Krieg commissar kit. Painted in grim dark style mostly with the army painter John Blanche paint sets. My brush is old blue citadel standard, detail and fine detail brushes.

No lightning as a stylistic choice since these are Terran veterans, they already have a lot going on and I didn’t feel the need to over detail them, but I do have lightning reserved for characters, terminators, night raptors.
