Baby out grown next to me At 3 months.. what do I do

My baby is three months old and has pretty much outgrown next to me crib and it is starting to be a little crooked. I’m not happy about it as she tipped to one side and it just does not seem sleep Safe anymore.
We are keeping her in our bedroom with us ideally up to one year as per the NHS guidelines.
She has a big cot in her nursery, which is much too large to move in with us.
Please help me as to what you put your big babies in when they have outgrown they’re next to me but not ready for the nursery yet.

Would you buy a house next to military training grounds?

Exactly as the title says. Would you consider buying a house next to military training grounds such as Salisbury plain surrounding villages.

If so, would it make a difference to you which part of the training grounds? I.e. next to an airfield or next to the main impact zone or next to tank tracks, etc

Period returned 11 weeks PP feeling guilty

So my period has returned 11 weeks After PP after C-section and I’m feeling really guilty

I’m a first time Mum so have no idea how much this will affect my milk supply.

Perhaps it’s the hormone swing, but I feel really guilty that I have not breastfed enough and it’s causing my period to start.
I had a teeny tiny bit of pink once or twice over the last couple of weeks.
I’m exclusively breastfeeding, but this week had to leave my baby for around four hours to go into work to train my replacement , and I also attended a dinner as my first break and social outing since my birthday in February, which my partner is adamant I went on as I literally haven’t been out or done anything for myself in a very long time. This went on a bit longer than I thought

Now I feel really guilty that because I went out, I’ve caused my period to return and I will have less milk.

Is this irrational Mum Guilt ? my partner thinks so but of course being lovely and supportive.

I feel really bad and just wanted to know if anyone else felt like this or had tips on keeping milk supplier up once your period started.

Alliums finishing too quickly

I have a lot of alliums in my garden. And I top up my allium bulbs every year. My only issue for the last 10 years has been the large fat squirrel that eats bulbs buried in my garden over winter. But last year and this year I’ve noticed that my aliens show is getting shorter and shorter.
They’re in good ground and I water the garden during dry periods.
This year my alliums flowered for around two weeks and the majority of them have gone to seed before the 30th of May.

It’s anyone else having this problem or am I doing something terribly wrong?
I’ve had no problems for the last decade

To buy the dream home or the sensible

I’m a little unsure as to what to do and would like some outside views.

Our situation is extremely fortunate, I own my own house mortgage free which is a lovely three bedroom family home. I also own a second property in my hometown that is currently rented out to family and is also mortgage free and provide me a monthly income.

Our current life situation is that we have just had a baby, we are about an hour drive from my parents-in-law and we are a three hour drive from my parents who are unfortunately elderly and suffering with dementia, so our support network is limited. My parents will ultimately need to go to residential care and I am in charge of their care, so this is a favour of life admin on top of a new baby.

The issue we have with our current house, although it’s beautiful, it is not the most suitable for family life. The cottage is over three floors and has a garden over three levels with lots of drops and is generally a death trap for small children. We have a baby, three dogs and a cat.

Our dream had been to sell this house and sell my other house which would allow us to buy our dream family home mortgage free. This was before we had our little girl and reality has hit that perhaps I would not want to go back to work as quickly as I had thought originally. Which has led me to think about perhaps Holding off on the dream house plan in favour of purchasing a similar house to what we are in but with a flat garden so she and the dogs can have more outside access and we would retain the rental income from our second property.

My question is, having Little to no knowledge of how the markets moving out at the moment, would you go for gold and go for the dream house, orchestrating the sale of both properties and losing the secondary income, as you only live once.

Or would you purchase a similar house or be perhaps one that needs slightly fixing up but with a large flat garden, retain the second property and it’s little bit of rental income. Allowing myself to work considerably less and be a full-time mum to our new baby.. with the idea that perhaps in five years or so we can do the dream.

My gut feeling is it would be much more sensible to go for the more option and retain some income with the ups and downs in the world at the moment. Plus being able to spend more time with my child is invaluable.

What would you do and any advice regards whether we should rush and put our house on the market now ( the garden looks gorgeous and we could have a market ready in under one month,, or is it better to wait until after January next year?
My main concern is our baby will be crawling by Christmas and walking by spring, I would really like more outdoor space before then if possible.

Exercise schedule after C-section

I’m seven weeks postpartum and left a little bit in the dark . I’m based in the UK and have had my six week check with the doctor and recently visited from the health visitor but neither of them really gave me much information Regards my recovery.

They just seem to ask if I have pain and if my scar is healed. I haven’t had anybody check me over since my 10 day midwife appointment.

I would really like to know how to go about introducing exercise again. Is there any websites or social media channels or books that are particularly good resources for understanding recovery and introducing exercise back into your life after C-section?

Would also like anybody else’s experience. Very much open to advice.

Local charities to donate baby items

I really want to donate some of my babies outgrown Clothes. They are really good quality and deserve to be gifted on. I have given a few to friends who are expecting babies or have young ones.
But I would really like to donate baby items and good quality baby clothes too a charity that helps babies in need.
I’ve looked online and everywhere local to me seems to not be taking donations at the moment and I’d rather not give them just to a standard charity shop.
I was thinking, like women’s refuge or some sort of charity like that.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the bath area??

I’ve been using Eleven Australia care hair as it was slightly less expensive than what I was using before and was also used as one of the lines in the salon I go to. I wanted a particular type of hair care and they seem to take the box.
I’ve been using the repair line for six months and really liked the results.
I’ve changed over to the curl shampoo and curl conditioner as my hair is naturally wavy/curly. And I have to say it has been amazing, it’s given me natural volume and root left even when air dried, my hair feels much more moisturised and I was really impressed.
Only thing is both myself and my partner have a really fine hair, and he has been using my shampoo, I noticed that he had quite a lot of dandruff suddenly. This was not an issue that I have ever noticed in his hair.
I had a bit of a route through my hair as I was counting the Greys I’ve managed to collect this year, and I noticed I had quite a lot of dry patches and dandruff also.
This didn’t seem to happen with the repair line.

I wondered if anyone’s had this issue with Eleven healthcare before? It’s annoying because I really really like the result of the Curl products. It’s the first time my hair has felt really well moisturised but also light and bouncy with volume.

Also, their hair mask is amazing if anybody wants to try
