Exclusive: Reddit expands "community intelligence" ad strategy — Axios

“We are a trove of human intelligence," COO Jen Wong tells Axios. "Even as people use AI more, they still are seeking out information from humans as a companion to that."

I will add Reddit is a hive of human intelligence where production never ceases.

Google gives Reddit surprising tailwind — TheStreet

“Key takeaways for Reddit investors

Reddit’s first-quarter revenue rose 69% year over year.

Daily active unique visitors rose 17% to 126.8 million.

AI-powered advertising tools are helping drive advertiser growth.

Reddit Answers could become a key long-term catalyst.

Reddit’s content archive remains central to the company’s AI opportunity.

The stock market discussion is no longer only about whether Reddit can sell ads.

The question is whether Reddit has one of the internet’s most valuable troves of human-generated material at a time when AI businesses need just that.l”

GLP-1 sales forecast increased to $150B at TD Cowen — Seeking Alpha

They still underestimate the total number of users and the percentage of pill users vs injectable users.

If we take statins as a historical base estimate, the number of worldwide users of Lipitor and Zocor by the end of their patent expiration was 200 million, that’s 4 times the currently estimated number of GLP-1 users by 2030.

Only the Pfizer Lipitor pill generated $130 billion total sales 30 years ago ( in pre-inflated dollars).

A better estimate is 200 million worldwide daily pill users of GLP-1 by 2030, with total sales resulting from whatever the annual sales per user.

Thats only for the pills in their current form. If we add injectables and whatever new drugs on the same area getting patent and permission to sell we are talking about at least $200B in annual total sales of this family of drugs.

AI is fueling Reddit's spam problem — Mashable

Reddit is so popular and needed by AI engines that some ad creeps use their additives in the oil.
To influence the AI performance.

We even see these crawlers advertising their staff here.
I saw a “Reputation” firm advertising how they can repair a firm’s reputation and I guess how to hurt their competitor’s reputation.

Reddit is fighting them with automated tools but the best pattern recognition is the human mind…Reddit moderators and users

Long term no one really knows as no one could guess that NVDA from a game graphics card company would become a crypto mining powerhouse and now an AI hardware/software combo which is best of its class.

What we know is right now and in the immediate future there is a great synergy between AI as the engine and Reddit as the fuel. It’s more than that though. There is a greatly increasing synergy, mutual beneficial relationship as Huffman said. Human knowledge changes sometimes in a very fast pace. AI will need that human input in the present time, not just the past, since it’s dynamic and not static.

In short the engine will not only be designed better but also will run better as the fuel quality improves, and it does improve if a social media tool like Reddit is used intelligently. AI will have that codependency with RDDT’s human data for sometime to come.

Human experiences are very difficult for AI to create from scratch, from nothing. It can only process existing ones evaluate and integrate them, for now.

Can a robot or an artificial intelligence produce its own unique experiences as a human does? What will it take?

AI presently depends on inputting the hundreds or thousands of experiences one human can write for other humans to read, think, feel and understand.

AI can source, process and present these experiences in a faster and more concise, easy to read and understand way for the consumer of whatever… That’s all for now.

RDDT as a company for profit needs this synergy. It needs a small piece of the ad action as much AI tools need all the RDDT useful to them human data they can receive. There is a give and take partnership.

In the recent after earnings report interview of CEO Huffman on CNBC, Jim Cramer stated that Reddit is a lower cost advertiser platform for targeted audiences implying a possible increase of profits from increased ad rates in the immediate future.
I wanted to verify the claim and after a short Google search, (thank you AI mode of GOOGL, love the synergy) the proof is here.
The comparison is included in the following link with a detail of advertising costs on Reddit.
