Stassi’s Posse

Stassi’s Posse

Stassi demonstrated that she has not changed in terms of her portrayal on reality television, yes, but the people she surrounds herself with…whew.

What Beau said to her at the rental house dinner was genuinely terrible. I think we glossed over that WAY too quickly. He also has a battered wife complex and if he’s really that unhappy he should get out.

Taylor is incredible self centered and doesn’t care too much about anyone else unless it suits her. It feels like Stassi loves Taylor and Taylor loves Stassi’s fame.

Katie and Stassi’s friendship went downhill when Katie became too wrapped up in herself but what makes Stassi think she’s changed? It still feels like Katie doesn’t want to film unless it’s about her. Her and Taylor are very similar.

Kristina…once a pot stirrer, always a pot stirrer.

Rob sucks.

Don’t get me started on Georgi.

Teddy and maybe Georgia are the only saving graces here.

Who can I support on this show?

I feel like anyone who makes a post in support of someone gets accused of bad morals.

Lala is an instigator, Schwartz is spineless, Jessie is manipulative, Luke is a crybaby, Kristin is a bully, Jasmine is nosy, Brittany is annoying. Zack is loud, Michelle is heartless, Danny is an alcoholic, Nia is a mean girl, Jason is married to Janet, Janet is just the worst.

I don’t know who I’m allowed to like on the cast. I’m not saying I disagree with any of the characterisations I hear about because honestly, they’re all accurate to a degree. However, it is so hard to watch a show where no one is likeable.

This isn’t a post complaining about any fans or commenters I promise. It’s more complaining about how everyone on the cast sucks and there isn’t exactly a fan favorite. Sorry for the rant but does anyone else agree? Is there an unproblematic character from the main cast? Can we promote Melissa and Benji to main cast?

Jason appreciation

I’m so prepared to get downvoted into oblivion but I have to say Jason is one of my favorites (which is interesting because Janet is one of my least favorites).

His role on the show is to be the hottest one, blindly defend his wife, be the voice of reason, and spend time with his kid. He’s too good for this show. He’s too good for Janet.

Janet stirring the pot!!!

As Danny and Nia became the new “villains” of the show, many fans decided to support Janet again, saying she was right all along. It’s like there can only be one villain in the show and Janet was the lesser of two evils. But I need to say that while Janet may not be making anyone uncomfortable, being rude, or starting drama this season, she has played a HUGE part in stirring the pot.

During this conversation she interrupted Danny to insult his height to the point where her husband outwardly said it’s not right to do that. Then when Danny apologized to Lala she said “that’s it?” and Lala told her to hold on. This was all before Janet threw a drink in his face. Her close friend AND husband had to check her behavior. When neither conversation involved her.

And this is NOT a post defending Danny. I agree with Janet that his apology to Lala wasn’t enough. But that’s Lala’s choice to make. Not Janet’s. She completely overstepped.

I could be wrong but it feels like everyone flipped back to Janet because she’s said she’s changed and learned from her mistakes but she is still addicted to the drama. She’s acting like some saint for defending her friends but this is taking me right back to when she screamed at Danny for what he did to Jasmine when Danny and Jasmine had already talked.

Again, not saying any of his behavior was okay, not discounting Janet’s trauma, and not thinking his apologies in general are sufficient. All I’m saying is Janet is stirring the pot and I truly think they wouldn’t know what to talk about on the show without her dragging these situations out until they are stretched thin.

Who is Nia Sanchez?

I’m honestly so curious what Nia is actually like. Not that it excuses her behavior but I feel like most of her personality is painting this perfect picture and constantly defending her husband. She won’t ever change because she loves him and is blind to his faults but I wonder what things would be like if the situation was different.

If she fell in love with someone who was sober, kind, easygoing, and let her have some of the spotlight, who would Nia Sanchez be? It’s like she let this man take over every aspect of her life so she feels as if she’s a direct reflection of him. Her desperate attempt to retain autonomy in her own life is by painting that picture.

She’s not at all innocent in this situation. She’s said some messed up things. But when Danny isn’t there physically or in the conversation, there’s almost a different side peaking through. Or I’m just reading into it.
