Pinworms!

I don’t know what to put for the flair of this other than what I did. This is more of a rant and I know this is disgusting but it is what it is. I work roadwork and had to bring my 7 year old with me to work. Lo and behold my child had to pee so we used a cup. Well the pee suddenly turned into a poop situation so here I am. Holding a cup under my child’s butt. Anyhow. While letting them wipe with some wonderful McDonald’s napkins I saw movement in the cup out of the corner of my eye and here we are now. The treatment has been given for my child by their father that last night (separate households) and I spoke to my current partner about treating the household as I have two step children and of course us. Problem is the children’s mom would actually flip shit and I know she would blame my child and call us disgusting. Keep the kids away etc. I don’t want to cause issues. But I’m at a total loss on treating the household. My child had never expressed any symptoms and I would have never known if not for that wonderful poop in a cup. I just don’t even know what to do. I suggested the bubblegum tablets and saying it’s for something else but he was iffy on that as well. I want them goneeeeeee. I know no medical advice and I am not asking for that as I understand the treatment process but this situation is frustrating me so much. Tomorrow is my day off and my child hasn’t been home so alllllll bedding is going on a hot cycle. But still. There is the problem of dealing with actual treatment.

Glutinous

My 1 year old pain of a dog. New bag of food into the food storage and he had to get a few mouthfuls in. I need to get a raised feeder for him. Here in a few months when he’s a year and a half he is getting neutered (I’d like to wait until 2-3 but he has cryptorchidism) and was wondering if getting the gastropexy surgery with the neuter would be good to ask for? With my golden I had asked the vet and he was kind of iffy on it. But Alf is much more deep chested and larger than my golden. I am thinking of going to a new vet since my regular one didn’t want to for preventative but wanted thoughts?

Edited to add, he has broken out of his kennel on a couple of occasions. One where he ate a large amount of food from a bag that wouldn’t fit in the container and he looked like a balloon. And another where he chewed through cans of food that I was going to donate since it made my dogs all have liquid projectile diarrhea. I just would like the preventative surgery to help mitigate some in case of him finding away through getting so much food again.

Sores under nose

Willing to take to vet of course just wondering if its worth the trip. I noticed a sore under our dwarves nose 2 days ago and it seems to not affect drinking eating or anything. He’s still very active. Just wondering possible causes and if it warrants a visit since he seems okay? His teeth don’t seem long. The only things I can think of is maybe his wheel? I put some more stuff around it because it wouldn’t go any slower and he would go fast enough to where it flung him off, or he’s chewing on something in the cage where it’s rubbing there? There’s no difference at all in his normal behaviors? Not asking for medical advice on treating it necessarily. Just causes and what to fix in his cage?

Just started making this noise. The dryer is relatively new. Have only had it since around June/july of 2025. What could it possibly be

I saw this pretty baby a couple years back when I was looking to get a dog. I now have 3 dogs and we’re debating a 4th now as a family as I was single back then lol. Unfortunately this baby was transferred somewhere and I never found them. Just curious, I know looks aren’t everything. And different breeds are difficult (had a German shepherd as my first and learned my lesson) I now have 2 golden retriever boys, one from a breeder another stray, then a akc imported shepherd that someone gave away for free. I am looking for a smaller to medium sized pup. And this one really spiked my interest. I will research anything that comes up and honestly I’ll be scouring the local animal shelters as well. I feel like a spaniel/hound mix of some sort but not sure.
