How do I tell family I’m pregnant when I’m now 5 months and afraid to offend everyone?

PLEASE BE KIND.

My family does not live local. Today is my younger kiddos birthday and I’ll see my family for the first time. At first I didn’t tell anyone because i was terrified I was going to lose the baby, and I STILL AM, (won’t feel relief until anatomy scan in a week). I am the type of person who just lives a private life and I don’t ever want any attention on me.

I don’t want to hurt my sister’s feelings. Please be kind as I’m already emotional TIA. There’s no way they won’t see my bump. What should I say?

3rd birthday boy themes in July

EDIT- paw patrol it is! Give me ways to make this creative and fun because I love party planning!

So he is obsessed with paw patrol but character birthdays kill me. Am I doomed and just go for the character?
It’s going to be July 4th weekend so cute theme ideas I wanted (but he doesn’t care about) include let threedom ring or home of the three

Any other cute ideas that aren’t commonly found on Google? I’m not a fan of 3 Rex, 3-esta, young wild & three or 3-nager I’ve just seen them used so much.

TIA !!!

Mount Carmel postpartum questions.

We’ll have a tour in a month already scheduled but you have to lock down your OB in the first trimester and the OB is usually tied to a specific hospital. So where else but Reddit to ask these questions!

Mount Carmel (St Ann’s)says visiting hours start at 12pm? How strict are they on this for postpartum rooms? My husband has to stay home with our kids so I’ll be alone and missing my family - and can’t see everyone til noon? Any idea why this is, because OSU and Ohiohealth are both like 8AM

2nd - How is Mount Carmel for financial assistance for a middle class family with a super high deductible? Ohio health was fabulous for this FYI, but my OB is tied to mt Carmel and for both above reasons I’m low key considering switching while I still have time (1st trimester)

***Editing to add - what a wonderful community of kind humans! I’m so glad I found this group! Ahhhhh🥹***

I don’t have results yet!

I’m newly 38 and did a fresh transfer in March. Not sure if this matters, but the fresh transfer was not due to a shortage of embryos but more due to my request and optimal lining at the time of retrieval… we ended up with 9 retrieved and 5 embryos that made it to blast.

Transferred the best looking one - 3AA

I’m almost 9 weeks. NIPT will be soon and I have only had mild nausea, lots of exhaustion, but (TW) I have two living children not conceived through IVF. Youngest is 2(born when I was 35). I did IVF because I was running out of time and it wasn’t happening naturally…I remember being so much sicker with my LC. This fear of something being wrong is eating me alive. Any positive stories or statistics to share?

I’ve had 2 scans- at 5 weeks (measuring 1 day ahead, and again at 7 weeks, still measuring 1 day ahead and heart rate 140)

Any similar stories? 🙏💓🌻
