What causes this/what is it called (Populus trichocarpa)

(can’t include a question mark in the title or the bot will take it down) What is it called when the leaves are so light compared to the veins? looks a lot different than other Populus t. nearby

leaf in umbel on Asclepias syriaca; mutation or coincidence?

thought the leaf on this Asclepius syriaca was interesting; it seems to come from the same point all the other flowers branch off from in the umbel. i’ve seen leaves come super close to the inflorescence but never actually in it.

Why is this Achillea millefolium pink

unless this is another species of Achillea, but all the flowers surrounding it were white and otherwise looked the same

Any way to make the game more challenging?

I’m a few hours into the game and i’m really enjoying it, but i’m finding the difficulty a bit disappointing. i started off in hard mode so it’s too late to switch to supernova. I installed a mod making the enemies have more health, but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. i’m looking for a mod that makes the game a little more challenging in several areas, such as more enemy health and damage, less ammo, less lockpicks, less bits, more expensive shops, etc. if there’s anything like that out there, please let me know!

Why bluebells only here?

on my hike there were no bluebells the whole time, and the ones at the bottom of the hike are already wilted. There was this random patch of bluebells all around this decaying log, maybe because of nutrients from the log or fungi?

question about Thalictrum occidentale

i’m not an expert on botany but it appeared to me that on these Thalictrum occidentales there were separate plants that both had either male or female parts? the first one appears to have stamens and the second appears to have styles, but i was also thinking that these could just be two different ages of the same plant.

i love this journal the only problem is the colored pencils and graphite transfer to adjacent pages. is there a way to prevent this without skipping every other page?
