Do yall name y’all’s theriotypes?

I‘ve heard many people give names to their masks or theriotypes and I was wondering if it was common practice to do so

I have past life shifts sometimes but have never heard any names been called in reference to me (one of my theriotypes is a domestic cat)

I was just wondering if and how yall got the names, if you do have a name for your theriantype and/or if there’s a story behind it :3

Edit: I think what I was thinking was people naming their masks, sorry if there was any confusion -w-

I feel like ppl forget all theriantypes are valid

This really isn’t a problem on the Reddit community- but on YT/TT it is :/

Yes, people are valid for being an insect, bird, or aquatic creature therian. Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they don’t exist. People who aren’t knowledgeable on the community assume you can’t be anything but a canine or feline, which is complete wrong.

In the same vain, if someone is a cat, wolf, fox, or dog therian, they’re assumed to just be „trend hopping“ or „faking it“.

I am a wolf and cat therian, an Interior Alaskan wolf and Orange maincoon to be specific, and a lotta times it feels like „just be yourself“/„you can’t chose your theriantype“ applies to everyone but us sometimes because all the sudden we „picked the basic choice“ or „following what we see“ :/

Just like how some people didn’t chose to be a certain „uncommon“ animal doesn’t mean they’re any more or less valid than the people who are have „basic“ theriantypes

This isn’t meant for sympathy or to make anyone go „well actually-„ It‘s just to say we’re all valid, we didn’t chose our theriantypes, so we shouldn’t be shamed for it 🤍🌱

(Sorry if there’s any spelling mistakes, I typed this without my glasses and it’s rlly late -w-)

What kinda ring would you and your F/O wear?

This isn’t just for those who are engaged or married to their F/O, this goes for everyone :3

Probably a cold take but this pmo

I have no problem with HC- but it feels kinda wrong to take a character who is blatantly a lesbian or is in a relationship with a lesbian CANONICALLY- and make them tmasc- I’m Genderfluid myself and can get behind enby or genderfluid hc‘s for lesbian/characters in lesbian relationships- but I feel like making them male just feels disrespectful almost- idk.
Feel free to slime me out in the comments

Edit: some of yall are getting confused at what I mean

  1. yes. Pronouns don’t equal gender
  2. yes. I’m aware it says enby (it also says trans male and that’s what I was focused on)

What I mean for this post is not the debate of he/him lesbians- i just don’t like when people make a character who is a lesbian a male- whether that be trans or cis- idc. It feels the same as making a lesbian character bi in HC so you can ship them with guys
Let’s stop debating about he/him lesbians.
