Advice needed - would you stay on Zep or stop?

Context - I started zepbound in May at about 185lbs (I’m 5’4). My doctor increased the dosage each month, and I’ve been doing awful since I got to 7.5. I reached out to him last month asking him to stop increasing it, thinking my body just needed time to adjust… I’m 3 weeks into my 2nd month on 7.5 and still feeling horrible. I can barely eat. I’m nauseous for the first half of the week after taking it. I’m fatigued and my body hurts. I got bloodwork checked and everything was normal - I think what I’m dealing with is mostly malnutrition.
So, I use the KwikPen and pay nearly $500 to get a full month of doses at once. I still have one more dose of 7.5mg to take this Sunday, and then my doctor said we’d go back down to 5mg.
I’m 167lbs now, and I hate the thought of stopping and gaining weight back. I still have 20lbs until I reach my goal. I take another medication that causes weight gain and makes it hard to lose.
I’m wondering - has anyone else been in a similar situation and found relief from decreasing the dose? Or would you stop all together if you were me? I’m having a really hard time functioning and I know it isn’t healthy weight loss at this point. I’ll feel like such a failure giving up all together. Definitely a dilemma.

Side effects on 7.5mg

Hi everyone!
I just started my 5th week on 7.5mg and I am really struggling.
For context, I started zepbound in May at 184.7lbs and am now at 169.6lbs. I’m thrilled that the weight is coming off. My goal is 145lbs.
Ever since I started 7.5 last month I’ve been experiencing severe fatigue, indigestion, and some diarrhea and vomiting.
I really want to stick with the med since it’s working. Does anyone have any advice on how to ease side effects - or similar personal experience when switching to this dose?
TIA for any help you can offer!

I’m a SAHM and I have basically zero friends.

The friends that I do have, don’t have kids. I’m very much an introvert so I don’t really mind - but I worry so much about my 2 year old. I feel terrible that she doesn’t have other kids to play with. I do take her to parks and libraries a lot, and she’s in soccer and gymnastics… I just worry about her social skills. Any advice, or has anyone been in this situation and had their child grow up to be ok with other kids?

Zepbound KwikPen may have been left at room temp

Hi everyone! I traveled today and brought my KwikPen with me. I put it in an insulated pocket of a diaper bag with a small ice pack. It was in there for about 4-5 hours. When I went to take it out I noticed that the ice pack was only a tiny bit cold at that point. I went ahead and put the pen in the fridge. I just googled and saw that I was probably supposed to leave it out and use within 21 days rather than put it back in the fridge. Has anyone had a similar experience or knowledge on whether or not it’s still ok to use? My injection day is tomorrow, so I can’t wait until Monday to call my doctor and ask.

Random but is this a weird haircut?😂😅

I let my girl’s hair get really long, and she went to the groomer today. I told them to just do what they normally do, which is to cut it short all over. For some reason they left her face super long. I think it’s kinda cute - my husband thinks it’s weird and that we should bring her back in.😂 Curious what all of you yorkie lovers think?!

DMV on a Saturday

Has anyone recently been to the DMV by Gabe’s on a Saturday? I finally have some time to go late morning/early afternoon for my Real ID and am not sure how long I’ll need childcare for.

First time home buyers

Fellow first time home buyers - how are we doing??? We have been looking for a while and are about ready to give up. Prices are out of control and it seems people are offering above asking price on everything. I have lived in this county my entire life and I love Lancaster, but I’m thinking we may have to move elsewhere so that we can afford something somewhat decent for our family. Its disheartening. Any success stories or advice would be welcome… please give me some hope!

Hi everyone! We are considering purchasing season passes to Dutch Wonderland this year. I know summer weekends can be crazy, but is it typically super busy during the week too? We have a toddler so we’re not sure if it’s worth it if we’d have to wait in long lines every time. TIA for any insight!
