Father Janes approaches her, but before they can speak, a sai wielding figure dressed like a Bengal Tiger drops from above and attacks, asking “Why did the jungle breathe?”

While the sai wielding assailant chases Silhouette, a shadowy figure watches from a black van

Meanwhile Robbie Baldwin, aka Speedball, confronts his father about his missing mother deciding to go to the New Warriors for help

Richard Rider, Nova, and Vance Astrovik, Marvel Boy, are also confronted by family members before heading to join the other New Warriors

Namorita and Angelica Jones, Firestar, are out shopping when they hear gunfire

The pair confront a man who claims his gun only has blanks, and he was attempting to scare the men who had his 12 year old sister working in a sweatshop

Namorita tells the men that if they girl isn’t found, her brother may return with real bullets, and she won’t stop him

The New Warriors convene at their headquarters where Speedball asks them to look into his mother’s disappearance in Brazil

Before anything can be decided, Silhouette teleports in through the shadows, having escaped the man who was chasing her

After a few tense moments, it’s decided the team can’t ignore either situation, and split so some can go to Brazil and look for Speedball’s mother, and the rest can help Silhouette

During an interlude, a woman enters a pyramid and retrieves the Scepter of Ka, vowing to rule Egypt and the World

Speedball, Nova, Marvel Boy, Firestar, and Namorita travel to Brazil with Chord, revealing their secret identities to each other for the first time

After they check into the hotel, it is revealed they are being followed by some deadly individuals

Back in New York, Night Thrasher and Silhouette return to the church to witness the Bengal Tiger clad assassin attack Father Janes again

Night Thrasher makes quick work on the Bengal Tiger, but is interrupted by gunfire from The Punisher!

Frank’s Body Count - 0! (“I’m the one who’s after the girl!”)

• Punisher is watching the news as suspected murder Delbert Rogofsky is let out of jail on bail
• Meanwhile, someone has been murdering taxi drivers, 5 in 5 weeks with a .44 magnum
• Microchip has been working on a modified taxi so that Punisher can attempt to catch the killer while they wait for information on Rogofsky
• Punisher picks up fares through the night, when eventually a man does pull a gun on him
• Unfortunately he is armed with the wrong weapon, so after Punisher bloodies his nose, he is tossed back onto the street
• When Frank stops for food, he is confronted by a member of the Hack Bureau who knows his cab is fake
• Frank pays him off and takes a new fare, but when Microchip radios that Rogofsky has been spotted, he has no choice but to take the woman along
• Punisher catches up to Rogofsky and his men who are attempting to flee the police in a truck
• The men are armed and open fire, but Punisher manages to knock one from the bed and gives chase on to the expressway
• Using a heavy strobe light, Punisher causes Rogofsky’s truck to crash, putting an end to him and his gang
• With Rogofsky taken care of, Punisher attempts to take his unfortunate passenger to her destination, only for her to pull a .44 Magnum on him!
• The woman reveals that she has been killing cab drivers because she was raped walking home after being unable to flag down a taxi
• Punisher pulls his trap, a pair of shotguns hidden under the seat, killing the woman
• Frank laments that if the woman had gone after rapists, he would have understood and maybe even helped her, but the taxi drivers were innocents
• Frank tells Microchip to ready the hose to clean out the back seat as he passes cop cars and ambulances headed toward Rogofsky’s wreckage on the expressway
• Frank’s Body Count - 6 (He causes Rogofsky’s vehicle to crash, killing all 5 occupants, and then takes out the Taxi Murderer)

I have three Omnis up for trade, New 52 Aquaman by Geoff Johns, Avengers The Gathering, and Black Cat by Jed MacKay. I’m looking specifically for Marvel Knights Punisher and or Silver Surfer by Dan Slott and Mike Allred. Aquaman was purchased used and I’ve read it once, Avengers is sealed, and Black Cat was purchased new and read once. Black Cat also has a cover over the dust jacket. Happy to provide more pictures of any books.

• Frank has been reunited with his Uncle Rocco, who it turns out has been working with Microchip
• Rocco tells Frank he met Microchip through the tank game that Microchip was working on in Punisher #35, and has since run guns to the Palestinian Liberation Organization
• Rocco takes Frank to his secret stash, but they are interrupted by Libyan forces
• Punisher and Rocco take out the three men who attack them, but Esmeralda tells them a helicopter took pictures and flew away, meaning more men will come
• Rocco believes the men were sent by Hakim Abdullah, whose rival Abdul Abismah was a client of Rocco and Microchip
• Frank learns from Microchip that Saracen is allied with Abdullah as well
• While they move Rocco’s stash, Frank learns that Rocco was never able to have children, having been injured in the explosion that killed Fredo, and that Esmeralda had been in love with Fredo
• Don Elio learns of the stash as well, and fearful that he will lose clients for his own weapons if it is taken, sends Saracen to deal with it
• Meanwhile, an unmarked and armed boat arrives and destroys Rocco’s boat
• Punisher spots Abdullah on the boat, taking him out with a sniper rifle, then he shoots a second man to lure the rest to land so he can take them out
• Now in Italy, Senator Ori reveals to Don Elio that they are after the same man, Frank Castle, who is a Castiglione
• After he finishes wiping out the men from the boat, Punisher attempts to find Rocco and Esmeralda
• Rocco is lying bleeding at their rendezvous point, a trap left by Saracen who attacks Punisher from behind!
• Frank’s Body Count - 9 (Punisher kills all the PLO soldiers from the boat including their leader Abdullah)

Punisher is after cops who are taking supplies from drug dealers so they can sell it themselves

Unfortunately one of the cops he kills is already under investigation, and now the CIA, FBI, and even a senator are all after Punisher

Unwilling to fight cops, Punisher detonates the Battle Van and decides to flee to Italy where his father was born until things cool off

While visiting a local cemetery, Frank meets Esmeralda, an elderly woman who tells him how the Castigliones were wiped out by the Bessuchos over drugs

When three men arrive to abduct Esmeralda, Frank has no choice but to take them out

Esmerald continues to tell Frank about his family, about the three brothers, Rocco, Fredo, and Frank’s father Renzo

Renzo and Fredo decided not to do business with local mobster Don Bessucho, overruling Rocco

Renzo, fearing for his family took his pregnant wife and fled to America, and Don Bessucho had their fishing boat bombed, killing Fredo

Rocco took revenge, killing Don Bessucho, and fleeing

Don Elio, current head of the Bessucho Family, hears of the men that Frank killed and wants him taken care of

It turns out that Don Bessucho is the cousin of Senator Ori who was the uncle of the crooked cop that Punisher killed, and wants to send an expert to help track Frank down

The expert turns out to be Saracen, who helped Frank take down the Ninja Training School in Punisher #23

While waiting for a delivery of equipment from Microchip, Esmeralda reveals to Frank that she was once engaged to his uncle Rocco

The package from Microchip finally arrives, delivered on a boat by none other than Rocco himself

Frank’s Body Count - 5 (He shoots two crooked cops, and three mobsters in Italy)

• Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and Punisher are still tracking The Secret Empire in the hopes of rescuing Jeff Wilde, Moon Knight’s would be sidekick
• The trio manage to catch up the airship of Number One, the leader of the Secret Empire, but only Moon Knight is able to stay aboard
• Outnumbered, Moon Knight is quickly overwhelmed and has no choice but to flee
• Needing information, Punisher contacts Microchip for information
• Wilde is alive, being held by The Secret Empire to be turned into a living weapon
• Number One also reveals that because of Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and Punisher, he wants to launch Skyclaw, a rocket meant to disable world communications, early
• Microchip manages to trace The Secret Empire to the Empire Mall, which has been under construction for years
• Spider-Man disagrees with Moon Knight on working with Punisher, but when Punisher tells him that Wilde is already dead, the anger boils over and the two begin fighting
• Spider-Man is at first prevented from interfering by Frenchie, but eventually steps in
• Punisher agrees to let Moon Knight take the lead, but says when his way fails, he won’t hold back
• Spider-Man goes high, finding a mysterious shaft that he worries feels like a giant gun
• Moon Knight and Punisher go low, encountering a small group of guards they quickly deal with
• When more guards arrive, Punisher goes heavy and splits from Moon Knight
• Spider-Man reaches the end of the launch shaft discovering the Skyclaw rocket
• Moon Knight makes his way to the inner room confronting Number One who is backed by several guards
• Punisher arrives and clears out the guards, leaving Moon Knight to deal with Number One
• Moon Knight beats Number One, but when Number One tells him the Wilde is dead, he nearly chokes him to death before Spider-Man arrives to stop him
• At a secret medical facility, Nurse Lynn Church tends to a wounded Wilde, who swears vengeance on Moon Knight
• An ad for Punisher: The Prize graphic novel!
• Frank’s Body Count - 10 (He shoots one of the guards on Number One’s ship, knifes another guard at the mall, then kills several more Secret Empire members as the fight goes on)

• Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and Punisher have formed a temporary alliance to go after The Secret Empire, but are already at odds 
• Despite his anger, Moon Knight tells Spider-Man they should work with Punisher as he seems to have more information about their foes than either of them do
• Jeff Wilde, Moon Knight’s would be sidekick Midnight is revealed to not be dead, but in the custody of The Secret Empire who have plans for him
• Frenchie tracks Wilde’s location using a receiver that was hidden in the Moon Knight costume he stole last issue
• Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and Punisher are quickly ambushed by automated defenses and Secret Empire forces
• The trio manages to fight their way past the primary defenses, causing the leader of the Secret Empire to flee with Wilde and his men
• Inside the compound, Punisher splits from Spider-Man and Moon Knight who are attacked by guards in mech suits
• Punisher is closing in on Number 1 as he attempts to flee, but he has to fight his way through several Secret Empire soldiers
• Frenchie attempts to intercept Number 1 in his helicopter, but is quickly shot down
• Punisher manages to shoot down a second Secret Empire ship from the ground, but neither he or Frenchie manages to stop Number Seven, who is transporting Wilde
• Moon Knight and Spider-Man find evidence the Wilde is still alive, but are attacked by Number Six, who was left behind to stop them
• Moon Knight drops Number Six into a car compactor, but is stopped from crushing him by Punisher
• The Punisher manages to get the information from Number Six…then proceeds to kill him himself!
• Moon Knight, Spider-Man, and Frenchie are all angry at Punisher over his actions, but they have no choice but to 
• Frank’s Body Count - 15 (He kills several of the Secret Empire’s soldiers as the trio infiltrate the base)

• The Secret Empire has decided that Moon Knight must die!
• Marc Spector is still recovering from his trial in Bosqueverde when he discovers that Moon Knight’s armory has been ransacked
• It is revealed that The Punisher is on the trail of The Secret Empire
• The person who raided Moon Knight’s armory is none other than Jeff Wilde, who is quickly spotted by a member of the Secret Empire while on patrol
• Wilde is also spotted by another figure from the shadows, The Amazing Spider-Man!
• Spider-Man quickly realizes this is not the Moon Knight he is familiar with, and gives chase as Wilde attempts to flee
• Spider-Man attempts to talk the imposter Moon Knight down when The Secret Empire attack and attempt to kill them both
• Just as they are cornered, the real Moon Knight arrives turning the tide against The Secret Empire forces
• Wilde reveals his face to Spider-Man, telling him he resents Moon Knight for killing his father, but also wanting to prove himself
• Wilde makes his way up to Frenchie’s helicopter and directs him to bring him to the battle 
• Wilde lands between Moon Knight and the leader of Secret Empire strike squad, only to be shot in the chest which seemingly kills him and sends Moon Knight falling
• Spider-Man rescues Moon Knight and offers to help him go after the Secret Empire, feeling some responsibility for Wilde’s death
• The Punisher also arrives and tells the duo they’ll need his help
• Frank’s Body Count - 0! (“You don’t even know what you’re up against.  This is my kind of fight!”)

• Written by Carl Potts, art by Tod Smith and Kim DeMulder
• Punisher is in Belize on the trail of Victor Santiago, the Drug Cartel leader he promised to kill if he didn’t turn himself in to face justice 
• Having to go out of his way to trail Santiago, Punisher is caught between Santiago’s men and the British Defense Force
• Meanwhile, Santiago is using counterfeit Mayan artifacts to smuggle drugs while he raids the nearby dig site for real treasures
• Punisher is soon caught up in a three way battle between the BDF, Guatemalan rebels, and the Guatemalan Regular Army
• Punisher decides to intervene on the side of the BDF who are outnumbered, shooting several Guatemalan soldiers that try to cross the border
• Posing once again as Charles Fort, Frank is taken to the BDF camp outside the Mayan ruins where he meets Chief Archeologist Melissa Jones
• That night Frank dreams about the wars between Caradol and Tikur, two Mayan cities that Dr. Jones told him the history of
• Frank also learns the history of the Gurka’s, Nepalese soldiers that fight for the British
• Angry at his inability to steal artifacts from the Mayan ruins, Santiago plots to have the Guatemalan Rebels, the Guatemalan Army, and his own fighting force hit the BDF from multiple sides and wipe them all out
• Frank’s Body Count - 11 (He kills several of Santiago’s men upon arrival in Belize, then some of the Guatemalan soldiers to save the BDF)

• Written by Carl Potts, art by Tod Smith and Kim Demulder
• Frank is attempting to return home after his adventure in the Philippines when the airport is attacked by masked men who begin to kill anyone that gets in their way
• While the masked me and security exchange fire, Frank attempts to pull a family to safety, using his body to shield the child
• He is able to save the wife and child, but the husband is killed 
• The masked assailants murder all of the guards, and one of them threatens a man who turns to be a judge before they retreat
• The next day Frank sees that the judge from the airport has declared a mistrial against Cartel Boss Victorio Santiago
• Santiago claims to be a legitimate businessman and offers money to the victims of the attack at the airport
• Frank goes to case Santiago’s offices and sees the family he protected coming out
• Inside the offices Frank overhears a voice he recognizes from the airport
• The widow was denied the payout that Santiago had promised, but offered money to courier drugs instead
• Punisher attempts to shake down the man, Eduardo, when more gang members arrive, forcing him to shoot his way out
• Punisher attempts to intercept the woman who was paid to courier, Angela Santos, but finds that she was arrested and her oldest daughter taken by Eduardo
• The next night Punisher attempts to infiltrate Santiago’s compound, but is spotted, forcing him to go loud
• Punisher fights his way through guards and confronts Santiago, only to find him behind bulletproof glass
• Santiago taunts Punisher saying that his men will kill him, but Punisher turns the tables and says he’ll kill all of Santiago’s men, and only let him live if he turns himself in and clears Mrs. Santos, returns her daughter, and let Punisher have Eduardo
• After Punisher kills the rest of his guards, Santiago agrees, and Punisher arrives at Eduardo’s house in time to prevent him from killing the girl so he can stuff her body with bags of drugs
• Mrs. Santos is freed, and Frank gives her money he took out of Santiago’s safe
• Frank is once again ready to return home when he sees a newspaper reporting that Santiago is once again free, meaning his “vacation” will have to continue
• Frank’s Body Count - 17 (he shoots 4 men to escape Santiago’s office, chokes a guard to death, then shoots up several more gang members while infiltrating Santiago’s compound, and finally shoots Eduardo in his home)

• Jigsaw Puzzle Part 4!
• Jigsaw has managed to get the drop on Frank and Joy Adams who helped him find the Pena Flowers
• Joy manages to signal her horses who attack Jigsaw and distract him long enough for her and Frank to escape over a small cliffside
• Joy’s face is cut badly in the fall
• With no choice, Frank and Joy have to walk through a very bad part of town to reach the hotel
• They are confronted by members of the same drug cartel that was following Frank in the previous issue, Frank disarms and shoots one to get them to back off
• Frank and Joy manage to find refuge in the home of Eva, one of Joy’s friends whose husband was killed by the cartels
• Jigsaw goes to see Diego, the head of the cartel that has been after Frank, and offers to help them track him down
• Eva send her son to retrieve Frank's bag from the hotel, inside are weapons and body armor 
• Diego tells his men to take out Jigsaw as the cartels believe he and the Rev are trying to muscle in on the drug trade
• Punisher gives Joy a gun to back him up, but she can’t bring herself to shoot the young boys in the gang, and they are quickly surrounded by Diego and his men
• Punisher is shot from behind and Joy throws down her weapon
• Unfortunately for Diego, Jigsaw killed the men he sent after him and uses a bazooka to pay Diego and his men back for their double cross
• Punisher is knocked out in the blast, Jigsaw stabs him multiple times, then takes Joy hostage and leaves Punisher to bleed out in the streets
• Frank’s Body Count - 3 (He shoots three cartel gang members)

• Jigsaw Puzzle Part 3!
• Punisher is still in pursuit of Jigsaw, and thinks that Microchip has abandoned him
• Arriving at Microchip’s warehouse, he finds it partially taken over by local thugs
• Frank infiltrates through the roof, finding dead thugs a Dalek that won’t respond to him
• With no other option Punisher retrieves a rocket launcher and destroys the Dalek (RIP Dalek)
• Punisher takes one of Micochip’s van and runs down several of the thugs attempting to take over the warehouse
• It turns out the van  can turn into a plane that Frank uses to fly to Venezuela
• Turns out Frank is a fan of reggae and German psychology
• In Venezuela, Rev. Smith has a group of locals gathering more of the Pena Flowers to replace the stock that Punisher destroyed
• They’ve drawn the attention of the local drug cartels, and Rev. Smith orders Jigsaw to kill one of the workers who attempts to seal some of the flowers
• When the flying van breaks down, Frank received the unexpected help of a drug dealer named Paco to repair it
• Frank arrives in Caracas where he meets Joy Adams
• Joy knows where he can find the flower Rev. Smith is after and that he is already being tailed a cartel thug
• Frank agrees to go with Joy, but deals with the cartel thug first
• Joy and Frank arrive at the Pena Flower field to find Jigsaw waiting for them!
• Frank’s Body Count - 5 (he runs over multiple thugs in Microchip’s warehouse)

• Mr. Stewart decides to shoot himself when men from the government arrive to ask him some questions
• Punisher is scaling a building looking to infiltrate the office of Hamilton “Bo” Greaves, a crime boss that launders illegal money
• Greaves is under investigation and facing either a leisurely stint in a white collar prison, or will leg it and take millions with him, something Punisher isn’t going to allow
• Greaves is preparing to flee, having one of his men pack cash while a hacker erases any trail to his accounts
• Greaves has his hacker tossed out the window to pay him for his service
• Punisher bursts in and starts shooting his way through Greave’s men, but Greaves manages to make it to his helicopter and flee
• Microchip is unable to find Greaves, his trail has gone cold
• Greaves is in Puerto Salvaje, trying to buy his own bank, and when that doesn’t work, he has his main bodyguard try the strong arm approach
• Buying the bank puts Greaves back on Frank’s radar, and he has Microchip book him a flight to Puerto Salvaje
• Meanwhile, Phillipe, the man whose bank Greaves took over, attempts to get the CIA interesting by insinuating he may be dealing with Cuban Communists
• Phillipe’s ploy works, and US Marines lock down Puerto Salvaje, making Frank’s job that much harder
• Frank employs the services of Calvin Mellon, a small time smuggler to get him to Puerto Salvaje
• When Mellon and his boys resist, Frank reminds them exactly who he is
• With Mellon’s help, Punisher is able to land on Puerto Salvaje
• Greaves has taken a local girl, Esperanza, for his own, and kills her father when he attempts to take him home
• Frank infiltrates the marines, hiding in plain sight by posing as a CIA operative
• When he is unable to infiltrate Greave’s estate, he enlists a group of marines to back him up, so he can go through the front door posing as a routine inspection
• When a guard discovers one of Punisher’s victims, Greaves assumes the marines are a rival gang and has his men open fire
• Greaves manages to flee while Punisher shoots up his men
• Meanwhile, at the army base the general learns of the firefight and sends reinforcements
• Punisher runs into Esperanza, but leaves her, unaware she has taken Greave’s gun
• Punisher catches up to Greaves, but his man Harley jumps Punisher
• The two fight, Punisher manages to break Harley’s neck
• With no other choice, Greaves runs to the marines that are now swarming his compound and turns himself in
• Esperanza attempts to shoot Greaves, and the marines shoot her dead
• Greaves is taken back to the US where he rolls on some low level mobsters, getting the 5 years in a “Country Club Prison” that Frank predicted earlier
• Greaves is busy mocking people from the prison bus when he realizes that the guard with the shotgun looks familiar
• Punisher finally takes out Greaves
• Frank’s Body Count - 16 (He shoots up 7 of Greave’s men in the office building, during his infiltration of Greave’s manor in Puerto Salvaje he kills at least 8 more, and finally kills Greaves to end the story)

Punisher Annual #3 (1990)

“The Programma Strain” (Lifeform Part 1 of 4)

• Written by Mike Baron, art by Neil Hansen
• A mysterious figure breaks into Programma, a biotechnology company 
• The figure runs afoul of a guard, and their confrontation leaves the guard dead, and the intruder covered in a mysterious substance
• The Punisher received a tip that AIM was going to hit Programma, and finds their hideout where he knocks out a guard and steals an AIM uniform
• Punisher interrogates an AIM scientist, learning that it was Jethro Prufrock that hired them to steal from Programma
• The Infected agent arrives, killing the scientist and attacking Punisher
• Realizing that his small arms are having no effect on the infected agent, Punisher escapes, fighting his way through AIM guards
• Punisher infiltrates Prufrock's mansion disguised as an animal control agent
• Prufrock is a politician who wants to run for president, he was behind the push to develop biotechnology at Programma and hired AIM to steal it for his own agenda
• Despite having taken pains NOT to kill dogs in previous stories, Punisher guns down Prufrock’s dog Simba
• Prufrock pretends to have a medical episode to get the drop on Punisher, but it fails
• The infected agent arrives, tearing through Prufrock’s security and killing Prufrock despite being revealed as his son George
• Martha, Prufrock’s daughter and George’s sister, arrived with a shotgun and helps Punisher retreat to the armory
• In the armory, Punisher finds a rocket launcher and blasters George
• Believing the threat ended, Punisher leaves Martha crying over her dead father and passes by the dead guards to return to the Battle Van
• Frank’s Body Count - 4 (He fights his way through AIM guards to escape George)

“Punisher’s Fighting Techniques II”

• Written by Roger Salick, art by Mark Texeira
• Another year, another crash course on the techniques that Punisher uses to wage his war on crime
• With a gun to his head, Punisher disarms Eric Hels, shoots his brother Lars, and then takes out Eric as well
• During a confrontation with a thug named Tomasini, Punisher breaks his hand causing him to drop his knife, the smashes him face first into concrete
• On the subway, Punisher breaks the arm and shatters the kneecap of a would be mugger
• During a stay in Ryker’s Island, Punisher shows how to beat a larger foe by taking out his arm by starting at the wrist and working up
• Finally, seemingly caught by two mobsters, Punisher uses neck and knee strikes before finishing the pair off by cracking their skulls together
• Frank’s Body Count - Probably 5 (He definitely kills the Lars Brothers, and Tomasini likely doesn’t survive kissing a brick wall.  It’s possible he only knocks out the two mobsters, but knowing Punisher, he definitely finished them off)

“Punisher’s Arsenal Entries”

• Punisher loves an automatic weapon like the Tec-9, but laments that bullets are going increasing in cost
• Punisher says that sometimes the classics are the best, indicating his love of the Model 1911 A1 Colt .45 and how he has a number of them
• Punisher also has a fondness for the Beretta 92F, and the upgraded 92F/M, though he admits its drawback is a low ammo capacity

“Forwarned or Foretold?”

• The Punisher finds himself being led by a skeletal figure
• As they travel through the darkness, other figures call out their wish to hurt Punisher
• The master is a huge demonic form of The Kingpin who has his minions beat and kill Punisher
• Frank wakes from his nightmare
• In the dark he wonders if he’ll go to Hell for his war
• Looking in the mirror, he decides that if he does go to Hell, he’ll have no regrets and make them wish they’d sent him to Heaven instead

“Philanthropy”

• Another Microchip Solo Adventure!
• Microchip is moving into a new apartment when he sees an elderly woman collapse through a window across the street
• Microchip rushes to her apartment to make sure she’s alright
• The woman, Mrs. Rosen, tells Linus that she was faint from hunger, that she donated the last of her money to a charity called “Save our Children”
• Microchip thinks it might be a scam, and begins to investigate, taking one of the Battle Vans and heading to Houston, Texas
• He discovers that “Save Our Children” is only one of a number of companies tied to Roger Boelter, a man who was charged with mail fraud in the 70s
• Microchip disables their computers, then intercepts their phone call for a repairman so he can get into the offices
• Microchip discovers that Boelter has several offshore accounts and sets up surveillance in his office
• Using recordings from Boelter’s office, he gets the Attorney General to investigate
• An angry customer arrives at Boelter’s office with a gun, when Boelter attempts to use the gun in his desk it explodes thanks to Microchip’s meddling
• Mrs. Rosen thanks Microchip by making him tuna casserole…made with cat food

Daredevil Annual #6 (1990)

“Predator” (Lifeform Part 2 of 4)

• Written by Gregory Wright, art by Cam Kennedy
• George has survived his encounter with Punisher
• He begins to feed on people in the back alleys of Hell’s Kitchen
• After an encounter with gang members who shoot off George’s arm, he draws the attention of Daredevil
• George also encounters Typhoid Mary
• Daredevil tries to reason with the creature
• The police arrive and shoot the creature with weapons and tranquilizers, causing it to collapse and dissolved, seemingly dying once again

The Incredible Hulk Annual #16 (1990)
“The Quality of Mercy” (Lifeform Part 3 of 4)

• Written by Peter David, art by Angel Medina and Larry Mahlstedt
• George Prufrock is seemingly human again and tells of his encounter with the Incredible Hulk
• The being Mercy kills a homeless man by throwing him in front of a truck, believing he wanted to die
• Lemar, a man who was attacked by Lifeform is taken to the hospital for treatment
• George kills someone who interrupts his story, telling of wanting to be an actor before he turned to science and AIM at the urging of his father
• Mercy encounters Lifeform and sensing its dual nature, takes it to the Hulk, another being with a dual nature, hoping they can help each other
• Hulk and Lifeform begin to battle, and Mercy seems to somehow separate Hulk and Bruce Banner
• Lifeform attacks again, this time fighting both Hulk and Banner
• When a fire starts, Hulk tosses Lifeform in, seemingly killing him once again
• Banner is also seemingly killed, but it is revealed to be Mercy who thought it would help for Hulk and Banner to talk
• George finishes his story, telling Lemar that Mercy turned him human again, but it won’t last and soon he’ll become Lifeform again
• George Kills Lemar as an act of mercy

Silver Surfer Annual #3 (1990)
“Lifeform - Termination” (Lifeform Part 4 of 4)

• Written by Jim Starlin and Ron Marz, art by Ron Lim and Tom Christopher
• The Silver Surfer has returned to Earth to tell Captain America that Thanos is dead
• George is at the hospital, once again mutating into Lifeform and begins consuming people
• Nick Fury contacts Mr. Fantastic to deal with the issue, and he soon encounters Silver Surfer who agrees to help
• Silver Surfer and Mr. Fantastic discover the destruction left in Lifeform’s wake and realize he has plunged into the sea where he continues to absorb the sea life
• Silver Surfer attempts to destroy Lifeform, but realizes when it regenerates, he realizes he would also destroy the city in the effort
• Lifeform seems to absorb Silver Surfer, but Surfer uses his power to take Lifeform off planet
• Silver Surfer guides Lifeform to a world desolated by Galactus and is about to destroy it when he hears George
• George pleads for Silver Surfer to kill him, to end his suffering from all those he absorbed in his rampage
• Silver Surfer cannot bring himself to kill Lifeform, leaving him stranded on the deserted planet

• Written by Mike Baron, art by Bill Reinhold and Mark Farmer
• Reese, Bonebreaker, and Pretty Boy of The Reavers believe they have killed Punisher and Microchip
• Pierce, their leader, wants confirmation and demands a body
• Punisher and Microchip have managed to survive and shake off The Reavers for the time being
• Microchip takes Frank to his cousin Elliot’s salvage yard to regroup
• Frank doesn’t miss an opportunity to pet the dog
• Elliot presents himself as a legitimate salvage yard operator, but he has a side hustle running guns and experimental weaponry, including a battle exo-skeleton
• While Frank and Elliot work on getting the exo-skeleton to work, Microchip tries to dig up information on The Reavers
• Unfortunately this leads The Reavers right to them, and they drop in guns blazing
• With the exo-skeleton and Elliot's other experimental ordinance, Punisher, Microchip and Elliot are able to hold their own against The Reavers, to the point they attempt to call for backup
• Microchip attempts to disrupt the signal, but is caught by Pretty Boy
• Punisher comes to Microchip's aide, but the three Reavers dogpile him and his suit
• With no choice left, Punisher ejects from the exo-suit and detonates it, heavily damaging the three Reavers and forcing them to retreat
• Unfortunately Elliot was killed in the battle, costing Microchip another family member to Punisher’s War
• Frank’s Body Count - 0! (“Just three of them almost killed us, what if there are more?”)

• Microchip becomes aware some advance bio-mechanical hardware
• Having recently taken over the former headquarters of the X-Men, The Reavers become aware of Microchip’s hacking
• Believing it may be Wolverine or another mutant trying to get into touch with the X-Men, Reavers leader Pierce dispatches Bonebreak, Pretty Boy, and Reese to New Jersey
• Microchip manages to shut down The Reaver’s virus and wipe his own system, but Frank is sure they’ll send someone to investigate
• Microchip and Frank spend the next few hours getting the warehouse automated defenses ready to go in case of an attack
• Frank and Microchip are apparently Doctor Who fans
• When the systems cut out, Punisher heads to the roof wondering if they’re dealing with mutants, another supergroup, or even Dr. Doom still angry over their last encounter
• On the roof, Punisher comes face to face with Reese, and after a brief exchange Reese opens fire
• Inside the warehouse Punisher and Microchip’s Dalek engage with Pretty Boy
• Punisher and Microchip think the Reavers might be working for Dr. Doom and prepare to evacuate when Bonebreaker breaches the wall
• Pretty Boy and Bonebreaker destroy the Dalek, but Punisher and Microchip are able to set the warehouse ablaze and escape into the sewer
• Pierce orders The Reavers to kill Punisher and Microchip if they can’t capture them
• Punisher and Microchip are nearly out of the sewers when Pretty Boy tracks them and shoots up their boat, and dumping boy into the river
• Frank’s Body Count - 0! (“Microchip!  These guys aren’t human!”)

• Written by Carl Potts, art by Jim Lee, Al Milgrom, and Don Hudson
• Punisher is attempting to play possum after being attacked by three gang members last issue and taking out two of them
• The last man gets close enough that he is able to take him out with an old shark club
• Punisher also somehow now knows the name of Micochip’s friend, Wiggins, that was killed
• Edith reveals that Jesse, who Frank fought last issue, was a former student of hers, and also has his own magic to protect his men
• Microchip pretends to be a detective to get into the hospital so he can follow the drug gang and hopefully rescue Tracy and her mother
• Rikichi of the Shadowmasters remains in Hawaii, hoping to guide Frank to succeed the later ninja master Hatsu Yakamoto
• Microchip manages to follow Jesse and Dirk back to their hideout where they are holding Tracy’s mother
• Meanwhile, Punisher rents a jet ski to save Tracy from a small rock formation in the ocean
• He arrives just as two of the gang members do, he causes one to crash his boat and shoots the other
• Back in New York, The Arranger has found Damage, intending to turn him into an assassin for The Kingpin
• Microchip disguises himself as a Hawaiian god of death hoping to scare Jesse and Dirk’s men
• The ruse works, Jesse kills Dirk to appease the “god” and flees, and Microchip is able to free Tracy’s mom just as Punisher, Edith, and Tracy arrive
• Jesse realizes he was tricked and knocks Microchip off the cliffside while he fights with Punisher
• Punisher overpowers Jesse, tossing him over the cliff and pulls Microchip to safety
• With Tracy and her mom safe, Frank finds a boogie board left by Rikichi to celebrate him overcoming his fear of the ocean
• Frank’s Body Count - 4 (He bashed one thugs head in with a club, causes another to crash, and shoots another.  Finally he tosses Jesse to his death over a cliff)

• Written by Carl Potts, art by Jim Lee, Al Milgrom, and Don Hudson
• Punisher has been temporarily blinded while trying to rescue a girl named Tracy from a group of thugs in Hawaii
• A sniper has Punisher in his sights when Microchip arrives and shoots the sniper dead
• Microchip doesn’t realize the man on the cliffside is Punisher, but does realize he is trying to rescue Tracy, and lays down cover fire for him
• The leader of the gang, Dirk, calls for backup, but Punisher takes them down, not knowing it’s Microchip providing him cover fire
• Punisher makes it to the top of the cliff, and manages to surprise Dirk with an arrow, but the other man, Jesse proves to be a physical threat
• Punisher attempts to grab Tracy and flee, but Jesse knocks him from the cliff
• Punisher, Tracy, and Jesse all fall into the water below
• Microchip manages to take down another thug in the forest and take his gun
• Punisher is dazed by the fall and the fight, but Tracy tries to pull him to safety
• Unfortunately he blacks out, and hallucinates an old memory of drifting too far from the shore and having to be rescued
• From the shore Edith uses her magic to guide a shark to rescue Frank while Rikichi watches
• Edith tells Frank she knows of his fear of the open ocean, and wants to help him conquer that fear
• Edith attempts to free Frank of the guilt he feels for stealing a raft and the fear of floating out into open water
• Three armed men arrive, Edith gives Frank a club and an antique gun taken from Captain Cook
• Back in New York, The Arranger discovers the injured gang member Damage, and wonders if he can be rebuilt into an assassin for The Kingpin
• Frank is able to disarm one of the of the men, and shoot another, but he is cornered by the third as the issue ends
• Frank’s Body Count - 3 (He guns down two thugs trying to rescue Tracy, and a third later when attacked at Edith’s house)

• Written by David Michelinie, art by Erik Larsen and Mike Machlan
• Mary Jane is being accosted by the Black Cat!
• Black Cat reveals she has returned and is dating Flash to get Peter back, and knows he’ll realize he made a mistake marrying Mary Jane
• Spider-Man arrives just after Black Cat leaves, and Mary Jane tells them they need to talk
• The Punisher and Microchip are working on his ordinance as they plan to go after the military unit hoarding drugs
• It is revealed that Venom faked his death, has killed two members of medical staff, and escaped the Vault
• Spider-Man notices that Frank has stocked up on non-lethal weapons as they go after the army
• An elderly woman slaps Mary Jane for the actions of her soap opera character before being run down with a car
• Spider-Man and Punisher learn that the military is keeping the drugs at an academy
• The duo make their way inside, past one guard, to confront the Colonel in charge
• Is that Charles Bronson?  Am I the only one old enough to get the reference?
• The Colonel reveals that with the economy in shambles, the military turned to drugs for additional funding
• Punisher wants to destroy the drugs, and Spider-Man agrees
• The drug stash is guarded by robots!
• Punisher sets charges while Spider-Man deals with the mechanoids
• Spider-Man pulls the fire alarm to evacuate the academy before the place is blown sky high
• Mary Jane learns that Jonathan Caesar, an obsessive stalker that had previously kidnapped her, has been set free from jail
• Frank’s Body Count - 0! (“Yes, I’m human.  It’s my greatest weakness.”)
