Anyone else having to deal with homeless people joining the gym strictly for the use of the shower facilities and sucking up AC during the summer? We have about five or six regular homeless people that joined the gym strictly to do that. They camp out all day in here pretty much. If they’re not in the showers or the pool, they’re in the weight room area laying down on benches, not lifting any weights, surfing their phone, and sucking up the AC. I probably need to start going to a higher-end gym that’s more expensive to keep them away. 2-3 actually live in their cars in the gym parking lot. I’ve asked the manager several times how they’re gonna address this and he said he’s waiting for decision from corporate. For those that will ask, it’s a 24 Hour Fitness in central Texas.

I thought this might be a Question for the yall who frequent this forum. I have a good size pond on my property that has 9lb 3 oz bass that I pretty much have “hand trained“. I call him with an autofeeder to the dock where he will eat almost out of hand . Almost being the keyword. he goes nuts over the feeder goldfish that I bring him. here’s the question . I wanna transport him to my dad’s pond in south Louisiana . it’s about a 4 hour drive . what would be the safest way to transport him ? large tank and oxygenated obviously? I don’t wanna take any chances with him, and if y’all think the chances of him not surviving are large, then I won’t even chance it. I would like to hear thoughts

I’m part of a significantly large number of Greg fans they refuses to watch his show because he chooses to have these two nit wits on his show daily. Plenty of people deal with cancer, fire her. This business is about the bottom line and viewerships.

anyone have the recipe for the sauce ? its definitely heavy Worcestershire sauce and maybe some of the steak dripping and tons of spices . anyone know exactly ?

I find it very difficult to sleep on my back. I can really only sleep on one side or the other. Sometimes if I put a bunch of pillows on top my body, I can sometimes fall asleep on my back. It’s something about having some weight on top me that is comforting. It’s almost like I’m too exposed or too vulnerable laying on my back to fall asleep. Anyone else have this weird phenomenon?

Pretty much every year for the last 10 years, I’ve sold cars to Carmax and actually made a substantial amount of money. It’s soooooooo easy too. I’m due to sell another this week. They offer the most by far from all dealer. Not sure why this isn’t the first stop for everyone .

When I’m in a crosswalk and vehicles are waiting, I intentionally put some pep in my step so the driver can see that I’m not taking my time. Sometimes, I even give a lil wave to the driver even though I have the right way. I hate these asshats that seem to actually slow down when they’re in a crosswalk.

Here in Austin we have tons of gypsies (prolly Romanian) panhandlers. I’ve notice now they are putting QR codes on their mass produced handling signs. Anyone else seeing this ?

After a life in professional football my body is wrecked . I’ve had 11 shoulder surgeries, 2 bicep surgeries and 4 elbow surgeries( the elbow surgeries have all occurred in a the last 11 months.) Unfortunately, my elbow has been deemed irreparable and I only have about 40% use of my arm which totally sucks because I like to stay active. I’ve been on PM for about 10 years. Oxycodone (10mg 4x a day) helped for years but tolerance has crept in unfortunately. Morphine causes me to be sick to my stomach. I was put on Dilaudid last month to try. Doc said it’s about 20% stronger than oxycodone and he prescribed 2mg tablets 4x a day. The Dilaudid has been absolutely useless for me. Even more so than the oxycodone which didn’t really provide any relief anymore. After some research, it looks like Dilaudid taken orally doesn’t work well at all. I go back to him on Friday to discuss. What do y’all think would be next maybe moving to 15mg oxycodone 4x a day? I don’t think there’s much left . I have zero desire to be moved to any patch.

Ive obviously built up a tolerance over the 15 years I have been on Ambien. Of course it worked like a champ the first year or so but slowly became more ineffective. Now after 15 years, it literally doesn’t work at all. Have y’all tried any other of the prescription meds that have worked just as good as Ambien in the beginning? Unfortunately, I’ve also added melatonin and zzzquil to my nightly routine . I’m a huge insomniac and I also work shift work that changes every month unfortunately. I do a month on days and then a month on nights. 12 hour shifts. As soon as my body gets used to it, it flips.

This is gonna seem more like a rant, and I apologize in advance for it, but had to get a few things off my chest. I’ve been working out in the gym for probably 40 years now. I have been competing for 25 years an and I’ve seen things come and go. Having said that social media bs has ruined the gym culture. If you set up a tripod and film yourself in the gym, you should be karate chopped in the trachea. Then they give you attitude when you walk in front of them filming. Gyms need to ban this shit. It’s becoming more prevalent as of late. Anyone else having these issues in their gym?

Is it all about funding? Schools don’t seem to hold anyone back any longer. What’s the point of even giving grades? Kids don’t even speak English and they’re passed on to the next grade. The education system is an absolute joke now. Does this frustrate teachers? Why are we sending kids on to the next grade when they are obviously not performing to the standard.

Curious as to what the highest end duty pistol y’all have seen guys rocking. I’m not talking about the Staccato P…. Those are a dime a dozen. I’m curious if yall have ever seen maybe an Atlas, Nighthawk, Cabot etc. Hell, even and Xc?
