Surgery in the morning!

After almost 7 long months im finally getting surgery. I was a little nervous about a tube down my throat I kinda got over it but I still have some anxiety so hear me out give me some advice on a few things:

Is this sedation similar to the kind you get for tonsillectomy or septoplasty ive had those done so if it is in know what to expect. But if not does it make you loopy like saying dumb stuff?

Did your doctor give you pain killers (not extra strength Tylenol that literally does nothing) my friend had to go back and ask for some when she got ankle surgery so im wondering if I should ask or if I'll be labeled as drug seeking.

New red spots in eye from iih or nah?

Just noticed this. No pain never had popped blood vessels before. I had issues with pressure and blurred vision yesterday. Has anyone else with iih had this happen should I call my regular eye doctor or specialist?

Exercise? Stop taking diamonds switch to topamax?

I have lived with this undiagnosed since i was 10 im now 27 I was diagnosed at 26 last November.

Last summer specifically in July my symptoms started getting way worse. I was experiencing vision loss almost weekly where as previously it was a 1-2 time a year thing and I knew how to avoid it (posutral changes as well as quick movement after standing). I also had constant ear pain and pressure and head pressure then developed ringing in my ears. Because of this i begged my pcp to help me find a doctor to take me seriously and a few months later met with them. From the summer until October the sudden progression in symptoms stopped.

Once I saw this new eye doctor (not a specialist btw) she sent me to the er where I got my spinal tap and other tests and diagnosed. After the tap my head felt so clear I felt like a person a again it was amazing like even before the summer when my symptoms were at their "normal" I never felt that good. Well it was short lived i was back in the era for a blood patch 2 days later and boom everything felt clogged again.

Since then ive started diamox and every month to 2 weeks it seems I need to increase my dose currently im at 3000mg and my op was only 24 so I feel like there's no way I should have this much pressure in my head. My doctor let's me control the dosing because im the one experiencing it so im glad for that but im like maybes its not working or maybe its causing them?

Basically my head always feels full I have headaches all the time which I don't associate with any of this tbh my spine itself feels full if that makes sense? Now onto exercise because this is another issue im wondering is because of diamox or me/ the condition.

The same time I got my spinal tap and blood patch I also broke my foot. Its still broke so as you can imagine I have been extremely sedentary for a long time. I get surgery next week so it will stay this way til my cast comes off but even more so I will be not weight bearing like the first 3 months my foot was broken. I had planned to go on as long of walks as possible around my neighborhood because im going to london and need to build stamina but today while out shopping my body overheated I got extremely tired and my head filled up with pressure and I had to go sti in the car immediately. I was walking around for maybe 2 hours if that.

Is that a condition symtpom or medication symptom? Could switching to tompamax benefit me more?

Local female friends?

Might be a long shot but I just moved near charlestown and I am hoping to make some friends.

Im 27 i have a little dog no kids yet but working as a daycare teacher really fueled the baby fever so maybe soon. probably a little neuro divergent im a stay at home girlfriend at least until my injury heals so I have way to much free time and the only person I can bug is my sister who works and everyone else lives like an hour plus away 😭.

I have joined some fb groups but because I broke my right foot I cant use it to drive so im missing all the meet ups with them or I would be there.

Anyway here's my interested: metalcore, pop, synthwave, true crime, comedies, horror, romance, early 2000s-2010s anime, cozy games, management Sims, fortnite, reading, crochet, coloring, befriending crows, travel (going to london soon!), one direction, drag shows, occasionally going out.

And just cause I cant escape these things here's what I do not like cause bff was full of this so it failed me: taylor swift, Jesus, Disney

How much cat litter do normal people use?

Im asking because i have roommates who have a cat and they are in half the house while im in another half of the house but their cat box be stinking my house up.

Basically I had a cat who just suddenly passed away a couple weeks ago and during the time ive lived in this house I changed her litter every saturday or Sunday and washed her box. I know I was changing litter more frequently than most but I never smelled cat box smell and even my mom who hates cats and animal smells mentioned she couldn't smell my cats litter. I probably used one of those big yellow tubs a month.

We now have roommates and I ended up getting an automatic air freshener because the smell was spreading down the hall towards the main portion of the house. Its been 2 months I haven't seen any litter container is that normal or should we be doubling down on letting them know to clean it and change it more. For reference i think they may use pine litter not entirely sure though.

Im also worried because I had moved into a house years ago where the cat box the previous owners had had ruined the walls and floor and we had to get it cut out and replaced 😅 i don't think it smells as bad as that did tho

Basically how do you work on your muscles when you can't walk??? My foot has been broken since November im finally getting surgery in 2 weeks. I was on rest orders for half this time and ofc now it hurts to walk more than 50 feet so I barely walk.

Post surgery when I really can't walk what can I do seated that can help with my muscles? Im going to london in September and im kinda freaking out about a 10 minute walk after almost a year of barely walking so I will take any advice. As soon as I can im putting in Hella cardio but until then give me ways I can work on rebuilding my muscles 😅

Edit: if i change my dates to sept 3rd-11th I found a hotel that is a 23 minute total trip from big ben (lol) and comes to $675 it has some negative reviews but not like the one ive already booked (no payment due til august). I can slightly change dates I just need to be there for a play on the 4th.

I have 2 rooms rooms booked at the Chester hotel but the reviews are so bad. Some of the stuff I could get over but then some reviews were just gross. Im also going about a month after I get my cast off after foot surgery and I don't want to risk being stuck on a top floor 🙃 has anyone stayed there is it fine? The stay is totaling about $1086 or £800 there.

I have reasonable expectations for my budget which is why I already booked the Chester hotel but im having major anxiety.

I have another place saved but its in whitechapel and I keep hearing not to stay in that area....

I want my own bathroom so I don't wanna do a hostel i checked rentals and the airbnb owners are high key charging more than a hotel and if i split with my friend shed get a couch.

Nightly budget is $130 or £95 trip August 28 to September 5

Divirce in

Location: Pennsylvania

Im applying for a passport and i went searching for the picture I have of a letter I got in the mail that says my divorce decree was entered January 14th 2025.

Before I found this my mom messaged said man and asked for a copy of his paper work and there's a stamp on it that says January 13th 2025 3:59pm

Uh what date do I go with?? On top of that the court has my last name spelled wrong on the letter sent to me??

Im going to england from the us at the end of August. I've seen flying should be pretty fine maybe with a headache but how has anyone fared going there where the weather is different?

I seem to have worse symptoms with temp/weather changes in my area (DMV) and I know it can be rainy there. Should I increase my medication temporarily? I will also ask my doctor just looking for real life stories.

By this i mean stuff you need for travel I may be forgetting.

I have on my list

passport

Custom declaration forms

ETA to do before trip (do I need to do something coming back home?)

Exchange some money at my bank

Outlet converter

am I overlooking something super important??

On that same note are there any tips for what to bring with me? What i should pack on my carry on and personal bag? Do you think paying extra for checked luggage is worth it im going for a week and do plan to do some shopping probably just clothes and trinkets?

Im going on a trip end of August so we're doing passports next week. I have this on my face. It will heal a little bit more as well probably just become flatter. As you can see it does have my skin pulled up at the bottom. (I don't have a black eye that's just my anatomy) (us passport)

I will admit i missed a few doses last weekend my normal dosing is 2500mg a day. OP was 25 in November.

Sunday I guess I slouched for too long and that combined with suddenly getting up and moving fast and a lot caused my vision to start blacking out. I haven't had this happen since July last year and this time was definitely different. I feel like my symptoms have been worse in general and if I stopped meds I would be in way worse shape than I was when diagnosed and even prior to that during my entire life since it took 16 years to get a doctor to take me seriously.

This time the blind spot in my eye moved to the side like usual but it grew and stayed in a crescent shape on the right side. It also stayed that way for way longer than it has since this restarted during my adult years. Im also 2 days post "episode" and im still suffering from lingering effects when usually I bounce back the same day. For example I've been super tired I can't move certain ways my back is cracking a lot (has anyone else noticed when their pressure goes away their back crackles?) I have headaches that won't go away and worst of all which is the most annoying new thing cause I think im going partially blind again is that I keep having black spots pepper my vision when im walking around(right now I was cleaning and had these spots)

I read a lot of posts on here and I've always thought it was weird my worst symptoms don't stick around for as long as others it seems I may be joining that club... and here I thought the constant pressure in my head was bad.
