• I’m an OCI card holder.
• Got my adult passport before turning 20.
• Updated the passport details in the OCI database.
• From what I understand, the rule is: you have to reissue the OCI card once after getting your first passport after age 20, and then again after 50.
• I’m now 21, and my details are already updated online.
• So… do I actually need to reissue/renew my OCI card right now?
• Just want to make sure my OCI card + passport are good to go for immigration into India.
• Looking for clarity on the exact steps so I don’t run into issues while traveling.

We are building software for financial services and taxes. One of our customers has requested a whitelabel arrangement. The situation is as follows:

Our current B2C pricing is approximately 50,

- The actual cost to us per client is around 100, so we are currently selling at 50 to build traction.

- The customer intends to resell the whitelabel version at around 250.

- They prefer a flat fee per client rather than a commission or revenue share.

- We are in the same industry, which means this arrangement effectively enables a competitor.

A concern arises if we increase our B2C pricing in the future (e.g., to 500). At that point, our own clients may migrate to the whitelabel partner instead of staying with us.

Main Questions:

- Should the whitelabel pricing be structured as a flat fee per client or as a subscription/license model?

- How can we safeguard against future pricing conflicts with our own B2C offering?

Would it be advisable to implement measures such as:

- Minimum annual commitments

- Tiered pricing that scales with their client volume

- Restrictions on resale pricing to prevent undercutting

The main issue is balancing short‑term revenue from whitelabel deals with long‑term protection of our direct B2C market. I would appreciate insights from other SaaS founders on how they have approached similar situations.

Dear Members,

We are currently evaluating the development of a Document Intelligence platform designed specifically for Chartered Accountants, CFAs, and tax professionals. Our objective is to build a solution that operates entirely offline and locally, ensuring that sensitive client data remains secure and private without reliance on cloud infrastructure.

Our team has prior experience in this domain. We have successfully launched IndiaTax AI, an AI-powered assistant that guides individuals through the tax filing process step by step, performs compliance checks to highlight potential notices.

For professionals, we also provide fast and efficient filing software for CAs and Tax Experts, available both on the cloud and as a desktop application which is particularly valuable during peak filing periods when the ITD portal experiences heavy load.

With this background, we are now considering an expansion into offline Document Intelligence. Potential features include:

Parsing and linking scanned documents (Form 16, AIS, broker statements, invoices, etc.)

Automated reconciliation and categorization of financial records

Compliance verification and anomaly detection

Streamlined workflows for audit preparation and reporting

We have reviewed some high-level use cases published by ICAI

-added in the comments-

but we are seeking specific, ground-level challenges that practitioners face in their daily work.

We would greatly appreciate your insights on the following:

- What are the most pressing document-related challenges in accounting practice today?

- Which processes would benefit most from automation or intelligent assistance?

- Would you be open to collaboration, pilot testing, or co-creation of such a solution?

We welcome your perspectives and look forward to engaging with professionals who encounter these challenges firsthand.
