Novel Length Fic Recommendations?

Hello!

I am looking for either a standalone or a series in either Canon or Legends/EU (or both mixed) that is long and preferably completed!

This can be a canon divergence, a fan continuation of a series, a fan-made sequel, or literally anything. It can have only OCs or none at all. Idc.

I just want Star Wars Novels! I want quality! Something that could legit be on a bookshelf. Jedi, Sith, Troopers, Pilots—anything!!

Spotify Auto-Play got me hooked on Itzhak Perlman

To say I've always been a fan of Classical music would be a stretch, as I haven't sought out the genre too much throughout my life. As someone in my mid-twenties, I obviously prefer the more modern music my generation is afforded.

However, I love film scores. I listen to them so much, and, after watching Hitchcock's Rebecca the other day and falling in love with it, I went and searched for the score on Spotify, and, after listening to it fully, I forgot to loop it.

So, Spotify, for probably the first time in years, auto-played songs it would think I would like next. And somehow, after playing a few more Franz Waxman songs (composer of Rebecca), it started playing Zigeunerweisen. Op. 20 with composition by Pablo de Sarasate, and, you guessed it: Itzhak Perlman.

My head swung to my second monitor (I was on my PC), and I became immediately transfixed. It has become one of my favorite songs of all time now, and I even tracked down a vinyl of the '77 recording (which is a bit different unfrortuantely from what I can tell through Spotify. And I'm also not a CD guy so I don't realyyy want to buy A la Carte on CD), and, so yeah it's safe to say I'm here to stay in this genre!

The violin is especially gorgeous! I need to hear as much as possible now :)

Any good recommendations, anyone?

I know nothing about Opera. Help!

Hello everyone! I am a young person who is actively trying to expand my horizons and just see what is out there.

I have always heard of Opera, of course, but I never dared try it until I saw that my local movie theater would play some Live HD showings of them from time to time.

Alas, I was never able to catch one, and the upcoming ones aren't at my theater!

So, I subscribed to the Met On Demand service just now and am first wondering which of the 900+ I should consume.

But also... Could anyone care to inform me of the absolute basics of Opera itself? Is it all non-English? What is it that people like about it? Are there artists/singers as you see in the modern pop world, or is it a totally different vibe?

Basically... I know nothing. And yes, I could easily Google, and I shall, but I thought I'd go right to the source and ask the experts first.

I am a tourist here, but I would really love to understand : )

Best MTG Proxy sites for TTS?

Hello all!

I was wondering what some of the best sites are for viewing full Commander proxy decks that I can then import into TTS?

Of course, Moxfield is amazing and is what I use to import my normal decks, but proxies can be fun, so I was wondering where I can find some!

And if Moxie has a search feature for proxies, I would love to know about it lol
