1. Peter is the only one immune to her power, which means she can’t get into his head, at least initially. He’s also the only one who can detect her.
2. Despite this immunity, she manages to find Peter’s residence and possibly discover his identity as Spider-Man, his mutation, and his relationship with MJ.
3. She uses this information to torment Spider-Man and threaten MJ.
4. Apparently, she has no connection to Frank. Not only do they never appear together, but in the scene at Frank’s lair, MJ confronts him and asks, “Are you going to let him go alone?” referring to Peter. Frank considers this, which suggests that it wouldn’t make sense for him to leave Spider-Man alone if his protégé is involved in all this chaos. If it weren’t for Spider-Man, he would at least pursue her.
5. I wouldn’t be surprised if the psychic explosion marks the beginning of the third act and her power-up. Since everyone affected experiences the same effect of being “struck” by her power, she transitions from possessing people one by one to possessing all of New York.
6. It appears that Peter manages to figure out her plan, as evidenced by the dialogue: “I won’t let you get away with this,” and her response while possessing someone is, “Are you sure about that?”
