Universal Geneve
Didn't get the original band when I found this. But I think the perlon looks good.
Seiko Time Sonar 7018-6000
A very rare seiko indeed. One of the first seiko with a transparent case back.
Rarely seen... My Zenith stratos Striking Tenth. Felex Baumgartner
The Stratos striking tenth was the watch that Felix Baumgartner was wearing when he did the space jump.
Notice the lovely details on the dial. Shown here on a nato as it felt too heavy with its lugs and endlinks.
I later actually met him at a Zenith event. Lovely guy and he happily signed a book I had that covered his Jump from Space. Rip.
Bull head anyone?
The seiko bullheads were some of the coldest watches to come from that era...ref 6138-0040
Girard Perregaux Olimpico
One of the most beautiful watches I've ever had in my collection. Made by Giarad Perregaux with the EP 40 movement. I've seen Excelsior Park versions in advertising prints... But never in 'the flesh'.
Note the slim case, acrylic bezel and a dial color that's not seen often.
Jardur bezel meter chronograph on a maruman bracelet.
Heuer Autavia GMT
One from my collection that I sorely miss... Got it when I was only collecting Heuers... And after selling most of them. I had kept this one.... Later to sell it to a good friend so I could pay off my mortgage.
PS-the mug was designed by me.
